Too hilarious, at that party when they were talking about New Edition. She went from being known primarily as a female rapper (therefore, "tough," "rough," "butch") to this role of a feminine but assertive and headstrong woman. Love, love, love it. Then she played a murderous lesbian in Set It Off. Me amo a la Queen. Max/Kyle were simply SIZZLING with all of their sexual chemistry. Talk about a love-hate relationship done right. They were extremely sexy together. Synclaire and Overton were too cutesy, but Overton without Synclaire was always funny. But we all know Regine was the HBIC of this one. She was like a younger, less antisocial Alexis Carrington. Even had the hairdo to match.
