The Sud's Report 4/2/10

I think of Sky as a Q not a Chandler!

I always thought she stuck out like a sore thumb with the Quartermaines. The only one I ever bought her with was Alan.

Skye could have worked if they'd brought her back to interact with Adam, or Stuart (I always loved their relationship). She would have been more believable than Brooke as going to war with Annie.

I wasn't watching steadily, but from what I gathered, it seemed like they made Skye not a Quartermaine just so they could push her together with A.J. Robin Christopher was so perfect as David Canary's daughter, to me her vibe will always be AMC. She works well with the Quartermaines, just not as a Quartermaine imho, just as Adam would be great guesting on GH. Skye vs. Tracy was always fun.

I liked this scene:

They de-Qed her to put her with Ned for about five minutes.

I remember when she came bellowing into the Quartermaine mansion, with Rae tagging along behind her. This was when JFP was stamping the show over and over to try to tell us it was hers now, and unlike her previous soap stints, which started off OK, this one never really worked for me even at the start. I guess looking back, trying to use the Quartermaines for a new character is better than slaughtering them, but at the time, I thought she was very shoehorned in and very annoying.

I never saw Robin as Skye in her AMC days so I only had her OLTL and GH stuff to go on. I did eventually grow to enjoy her with Jax, but for a long time I was probably the one person out there whose only positive memories of Skye involved Carrie Genzel.

Ned! I knew it was one or the other, but yeah, that's pretty weak. You think we'll find out who her real dad is this go round? Not right off the bat, but maybe further down the line? I wonder if Dano will be making any appearances. She is a FOJ.

I think this time around is mostly supposed to just be about Luke and Tracy, although Skye does have some secret.

Skye's paternity is questionably as interesting without Rae involved, and i'm not sure if LD is really interested in soaps at this time. Maybe they'll pull an Iris Cory and reveal that she was Adam's real daughter afterall?

I'm not sure if Linda Dano could be lured back to soaps...though since it's GH and JFP is at the helm, if anyone could get Linda Dano back, it's JFP.

I'm not sure if there's a point in bringing up the paternity again, but I'd love to see Linda on soaps one more time. She and Tracy were great bitchy fun together, as were she and Monica.

I'd love to see Linda back too. She is an amazing actress.
