Welp... you certainly buck the trend on nuRHONY opinions!

Re: the grilling. OK, I can accept that Sai's husband, David, might have been loud rather than grilling, and that came off stronger than he meant to.

It was a weird social engagement (the men obviously don't know each other that well and were laughing a little too loudly and awkwardly -- not to mention the Sai-Jessel stuff) and everybody had had drinks.

To me, Pavit seemed like he was minding his own business and being cautious with the group. Who can blame him? They were ready to nitpick him to death.

'Abe-the-babe' as someone deluded referred to him on TwitterX seems dead-eyed to me. Like Erin, he thinks he's doing great on-screen with the sex talk, and doesn't realise how flat it's falling. If I'd met him IRL I would be somewhat uncomfortable.

I agree: we get it... your wife blew you that morning and you're a horny guy. Big whoop. LOL. No groundbreaking news there. It comes off slightly.... I don't know the word.

The engagement was weird; but again, they were bringing up why Ubah was not married, and so she asked them what the husbands loved. And, to me, David's felt most... nice? Abe was too sex focused, and Pavit seemed... like he didn't wanna engage over his wife. At all, which is weird since Ubah was into the question.. and the only one who was really beefing with the other one was Sai.

I usually buck the trend on most opinions. I did it with Eboni, too.

I think the reason why Sai/Erin are confused by Jessel/Pravit is because they don't know the specifics of their early relationship.  I read somewhere that Jessel and Pravit were long distance the first year or so of their relationship.. and I think sometimes you're more able to be apart or together with ease.

@Liberty CityAbe and Erin seem 'try hard' to me... in terms of their oh so active sex life.  It's been my experience that people actually having sex tend not to talk about it so much vs people that don't have as much so they talk it up.   And I actually think there is a backstory with Abe/Erin that we don't know about

I think I’m a bit off the Housewives train in general (has become a parody of a parody of a parody for me—I couldn’t even get into the revived Miami), but NuRHONY wasn’t hittin’ for me. I do like RHUGT for allowing the women to almost totally break the fourth wall and discuss themselves as “Housewives,” although Gizelle’s contrived fûckery last season ruined it. I’m also still drained and disillusioned from the last season of Vanderpump Rules, which was great but intense and ugly.

No I dont think its about confusion. Its odd to fly all the way to Vietnam for just 1 day for any circumstance that doesnt involve business or a family emergency. I dont think the dynamics about their early relationship matter. Its weird. With that said its none of their business

And she addressed it. I dont know what more they want from her. Its excessive how they keep harping on it despite getting an explanation from Jessel and her husband

SLC

Angie is such a damn liar. She said she never heard the rumors yet when talking to Shawn, she talked about how he's heard about that stuff for years. I cant with that man crying over the rumors either. They were putting 20 on 10

I hate that they are pinning the rumors on Meredith. She NEVER brought that out on camera nor even said what she knew. She said she's heard things about the husband and that could hae been financial problems for all we know. Whitney is lying on her

Lisa has got to be one o the most self absorbed housewife. Definitely top 3 alongside Ramona and Dorit

Heather needs to see a psychiatrist. She has an unhealthy relationship with religion and is projecting her trauma onto others. Why would Lisa come to her about Jack's mission? Ya'll are not friends and that is HER kid, not yours. She needs to quit bc this aint a battle she will win

I like Monica but she can be too crude. She did not need to keep saying Shawn was f--king other men. She couldnt say slept or hooked up with? And the way she was using those obscenities to her mother around senior citizens? Im no prude but thats too much

Mary was on WWHL and that had to be one of the most awkward yet entertaining episode! Andy asked an audience question "Why did you retun to the show?" Mary said "To help you guys out" LOL! Andy was so shocked and didnt know how to respond to her blunt honesty. She was a trip!

Totally agree it's a no-win situation, but wasn't it interesting that Lisa flipped out about not being invited over to Heather's house, or having Heather support her...yet it's obvious that neither woman is a friend to the other?

The SLC group is one of the least likeable set - they all clearly dislike each other for the most part.

    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
