Y&R was horrible last week, IMO. The Adam "reveal" was anticlimactic and poorly constructed.

Where the hell is the payoff on this reveal? It felt like even though everyone was onto the character, there was nothing high stakes at all about the revelation. Let down as usual, thanks to the incompetent writing staff at Y&R. I can see why some people tuned in, but I don't think it will be enough to have people tune in for more.

Y&R used to be able to give such satisfying payoffs, and this one felt like they were laying groundwork towards a Who Killed/Shot Adam Mystery.

Not to mention the fact that they didn't even follow up on the cliffhanger they built up to in Tuesday's show. I don't care if it was a budget issue/misappropriation of funds, etc., that is simply lazy and unimaginative storytelling. It looks like viewers agreed because Thursday's Y&R dipped to a 3.5 household.

Whoops, yes. I forgot to list Jason. He would definitely go. Unless there was a way to bring back his Q memories and make him a doctor, or something...but yes, Jason would definitely be gone most likely.

I would never want that for Jason. The character has been through far too much for me to ever buy Jason as a protector and healer of the sick.

Although I hate seeing him as a mob enforcer, the last thing I want is to see him becoming a doctor and viewers being expected to forgive the last 10-15 years we've experienced.

Gotta say that for a cancelled show, ATWT is doing fairly well in viewers. Show came within 75,000 viewers of tieing GH for fifth place and beat OLTL. A show normally drops after the ax falls but World Turns has been oddly steady for quite a while now. It has a loyal core following and, with the right team, could be rehabed. Even the demos are pretty close to the other bottom four shows.

Still beating that dead, maggoty, rotting horse, aren't ya?

Not to be rude, but it's over.

It's not going into syndication.

It's not going to Lifetime.

It's not going to NBC.

It's OVER

Believe me I know how you feel, I lost GL last year, but seriously come September ATWT is over for good.

I know it's over but wanted to point out just how depressed the ratings are for all soaps. Also think it is rather odd that the show is not dropping harder. Thought OLTL would have picked up some viewers by now. I remember how GL and Port Charles plunged after word of cancellation.
