T suggested this actress a few years ago, and I will suggest her again. The actress just celebrated her 24th birthday: Margo Harshman.

Reportedly she was not interested in doing soaps, but an official invitation may be a good idea.

Its true that ER is more pretty in a normal girl sort of way then in a glamorous or model sort of way. Although I'm not sure that a more pretty girl could not pull off the role of Bianca. I guess it depends on the sort of vibe they give off.

I don't think it's a matter of a more stunningly beautiful actress not being able to pull off the role -- it's just that it would shift the historical dynamic between Erica and Bianca a lot.

if i watched this show still... id LUV to see how they are going to pull this off, im not a Bianca fan but ER has a big following and has gained a high level of respect as Bianca, she made that character who she is IMO...a recast could be interesting..im just glad to know that ER turned them down!

TV Guide has an article about this and an AMC rep says "They will spend time finding the right actress, then create a story"

The article says Bianca is problematic on two fronts: Riegel was iconic in the role, and there are no other lesbians in Pine Valley.
