Yeah I can't say I really "get" the watercolour opening--if it backed away and the watercolour REVEALED something, I'd get it, but it doesn't. I prefer the sandcastles LOL

Is lit some form of archaic slang I'm not aware of? -_-

(re: OLTL 80's theme)

I suppose it's largely down to the synths--on new instruments maybe I'd not think so. But it screams 80s.

It's interesting you mention the 80's factor. Because the 80's are SO back - just with a very contemporary spin - in terms of certain fashion trends, and even moreso in music... especially with the use of synth sounds.

Therefore... I see every reason, and no reason not, to bring back this theme / opening with an appropriate update. ABC, please make a not of it. Thank you. :D

That GL opening was the Lifesaver opening. I remember some odd pairings in there (who was Rick with?). I always felt sorry for Billy/Holly/Buzz, dumped together.

Here is the iconic AW rings, with that famous, distinctive voice. I know some people who just loved this opening to pieces.

I know this isn't the best quality, but the Somerset opening always kind of freaked me out.

I hated that this one wasn't used longer:

I liked the images well enough. But I can't stand the elephant roaring throughout the song... (Much like the elephant-spazzing-out-on-cocaine in the current GH theme!)

It would have been better to have updated the Hold on to Love music for use with this imagery.

-_- I appreciate your attempts here, but I'm not convinced. ^_^ I'm a MASSIVE 80s synth music fan, Vince Clarke, Moroder, Yaz, 80s Depeche Mode, etc--that's the 80s synth style that's back in fashion. OLTL's chripy little ditty is not even remotely reminiscent of that. :P

Rick was with his then wife Mel. I forgot her last name, they had a daughter named Leah in 2004. She was SORAS-ed to 16 a few years later.

Edge of Night, the disco theme, with lyrics. I know it's cheesy but I just love that beat and the "half dark, half light" part.

That was SON favorite Ellen Wheeler.

Awful, awful GH opening of pure hell. Causes more seizures than Pokemons. The squealing is so shrill, B&B's old themes says "Uncle!" and dogs put their paws over their ears. Really scary, endless shot of Luke giving a serial killer stare! And that pretentious, pathetic moment of Luke walking away from what turned into a huge mass grave.
