The father was played by Hugh Franklin, and the son, Frank Garner, was played by Conrad Fowkes. In the end he wasn't on the show for that long, he was just a brief confidant for Victoria Winters, but they did interview Conrad on one of the DVDs. He also played on Hidden Faces, Secret Storm, Edge of Night. Probably his most recent role was as Don Hughes on ATWT. I also recently began catching up on some of the early Shadows shows via the mini-episodes on youtube, and just the other day I checked imdb to see if Conard was still alive. Very sad...RIP! Members DRW50 Posted December 16, 2009 Author Members Share Posted December 16, 2009 Yeah, that we can even get to see Nancy onscreen, still acting, occasionally, and still get to see great work from Bob, Kim, Lucinda, Lisa, etc. is something which wouldn't have happened on a lot of shows. And that we can still hope Ellen, John, or Penny could return, if this show actually cared about bringing them back. The ATWT vets seem to have a real longevity which you won't always get at shows.
