Members DRW50
He was right about killing off Darla. I thought it was a stupid idea, and in the end, like a lot of B&B this decade, pointless.

Members NorrthCafe
Darla's death, Phoebe's death, Hector being blinded and disappearing - getting rid of the only Latino family that could have been established as a core family at that time (and then to replace them with Gabby. Geez). A lot of really bad decisions were made in order to create failed 'drama' on this show to give taylor something to do. I loved the interview, but this part stunned me, " -- the feeling on "B&B" was: "Life is hard enough. Let's make it fun and escapist." Fun and escapist are the last two words I'd use to describe the BnB over the last several years. I did love the show from the time Storm accidentally shot Katie to the time he took his life to save hers. That was powerful stuff. If the BnB is going to be dark and draining, that's the kind of payoff the show needs. Given his comments about 'romance', I wonder how he feels about the 'musical partners' game the characters play out onscreen and all the instant lovin'. Couples date and marry within months (2 - 3) on the BnB.

Members bellcurve
I love that Rex Best was a fan of EDGE. There will never be a show in daytime like it. Great interview.
