Haha, hence why I thought she might end up the Danielle/Camille/Michaele of NYC. Sounds like from the other thread that isn't the case! Can't wait for Season 2!

Btw, this scene was featured on Bravo's special "Top 25 Real Housewives Moments" from the early seasons.

Oh I saw that so I knew it was coming but its another thing to see it in its entirety as it went down. Its even more shocking bc she didnt even know them at that point. 2 strangers that she just goes off on. Another moment from that contdown was Bethenny walking in on Simon and Alex's crusty looking house. I cant beleive how dirty and rundown the interior looked. Id have been embarassed

I cant beleive the season is done already but I forgot that back in the early years, the seasons were short, like 7 episodes. Thank god they bumped up the episode count

I can also see why they add Kelly in season 2. S1 wasnt boring but there wasnt much drama aside of Ramona going off on Simon

I was appalled with the behavior of Alex's kids at the final dinner and she did absolutely nothing. A good parent would have controlled her wild kids. They presenbt themselves as this proper family unit and they have their kids misbehave publicly and dont discipline them.

LuAnn's husband seems to be away alot. Makes sense now, knowing where this goes.

Jill says she doesnt hold grudges and just moves on. Ha! I wonder if she looks back on any old episodes to see this comment

The reunion was much better than the season. I was shcoked that Alex and Simon were almost painted as the villians of the seasons as they got ripped pretty bad. I ddint think they were that bad and before I ever watched, I picked her to be the "good girl"

I was also surprised that Alex/Simon got so much heat in the reunion. I agree with Bethenney though - who cares if you want to be a socialite - just own it! But yeah, Alex/Simon are the nicest of the bunch and I can't believe they were painted these crazy villians at the reunion.

I've heard about LuAnn's marriage... On one hand I'm not surprised bc she is his fourth wife and he's always away, but on the other hand he is a Count (isn't that taboo?) and he is ugly/gross as hell (at least for what I would think are LuAnn's standards).

Ramona is still BSC - its still so hard for me to believe that she becomes the sane mother hen...haha.

I actually quite enjoyed this season. Sure, it wasn't crazy ghetto dramatic like NJ or Atlanta, but it presented each family equally. We got to know their families really well (and not just the ladies), and watch them get to know each other. Almost the way DC S1 did, and definitely how the OC S1 did.

I would prefer they skip the Lost Footage episode today and go straight into S2, but oh well.

The start of season 2 of NY was so good with the Jill vs Alex drama. I definetly understand where it goes in the next season now. Too bad they made up and the the subsequent episodes have been boring. Im not seeing Kelly as this big monster that she's been made out to be. The closest was the last episode when she refused to have her name on the charity benefit. I actually see where she comes frombc I wouldnt want to be committed to somethign I didnt signup for. Betheny definetly takes this as a personal insult and looks like this will be the cause of their future drama

I'm enjoying Season 2 so far. It looks like we're just getting into the juicy Kelly vs. Bethanny this week. At this point, Kelly really hasn't been on too much and she's a bit boring. She's also very spacey... If I were to watch in real-time (before not knowing what happens in Season 3), I would think Kelly was a boring addition and wonder why she was even brought on.

I'm curious as to what they will show after Season 2. I don't think they have the rights to any other series, right? Just OC, NYC, and ATL. In the beginning, did they only play Season 1 of the OC? Maybe they'll go back to OC... ?

I thought any series was fair game. I didnt realize there was only a limit to what they have to syndicate. Im fine with them going back to OC bc I missed the earlier seasons. Im also fine with them going to NY seaon 3 even though it aired not too long ago on Bravo. That was just so good that I wouldnt mind seeing it again

Oh funny line from last week. LuAnn at the party when a waiter tried to give her a beer "The Countess doesnt drink beer out of a bottle" LOL

Wow, forget what I said about Kelly and this season bc the last episode was so crazy. Kelly came acorss as a nut when talking to Bethenny. I couldnt beleive what I was seeing and no wonder Bethenny cant stand her. She truly seemed like she wasnt all there. Funny thing though is that she made alot more sense later when she was explaining herself to LuAnn. I think she has a problem getting her point and doesnt handle confrontation well. The 2 women definetly had a communication issue and if they had only understood where the other was coming from, they could have avoided their drama

thanks. I was wondering where they would go next. So it took them 4 months to air s1-3 of OC, s1-2 of Atlanta and NYC. Thats a pretty good run and didnt think it would take that long. Wow, if they were to air all the other ones which have aired since, it would take quite a while to get through them. They definetly have alot of material to have a decent syndication run

I didnt like how in season 1 of OC, the housewives barely interacted. What I enjoy about this series is how they all intertwine with each other and the drama that ensues. This seasonw as all about the womena nd their respective families. The kids play a moreprominent role here than in other series. I look forward to seeing how season 2 changes things up

Well unfortunately today they didn't really start Season 2.... they jumped to Season 4! That is promising though, bc they only showed S1-S3 in their first run, prior to running Atlanta. Just wish they would do it in order. I wonder if they just got the rights to S4 while S1 was airing, so they went for it?

    • Vicky's best was Ryan. Heck they even got together in heaven. Jake's best was Paulina. Carter & Thomasina.  Sally & Catlin. Marley and ?

    • I'm trying to think whether AW had anything remotely resembling that once Steve was killed off and Alice left a widow. So many young love stories were wrapped up either by marrying and leaving town or marrying and killing off one party. Maybe they acted in the final year as if Vicky and Jake had been that couple all along, but they both had better other mates along the way and also Jake was actively hostile to Vicky at too many points without any subtext of caring about her.

️, so all the more time to watch/rewatch these past three scorching episodes. What were some of your favorite moments? @beyondthegatescbs
    • Beth Ehlers thanked Beth Chamberlain by name from the mic saying she was THE BEST person to be in a triangle with.  Generally speaking I loved Judi's Beth but then also strongly liked BethC's Beth but I did not like the whole Lorelei stage!!!
    • Yep, it seemed temporary, lasted 3-5 minutes, then BACK! Yea.  Thanks.
    • Oh but those "Pharleys" were very adamant that they stay together and be featured everyday (though I did like their websites and the recaps they gave each day.) I agree, they were interesting at first, but the longer it went on the more Harley became this sad sack jealous wife, the more Phillip became a dumb Josh type character torn between two women and the more Beth became a pathetic looser chasing her ex.   I think after Beth came back it would have been an interesting triangle of three "good" people trying to find a way, and I did like the "Who killed Carl" and how Harley and Beth had to work together there, but we all know Phillip would have dumped Harley to get together with Beth, Harley would have been hurt but dusted herself off and moved on, and eventually Beth and Phillip would implode. They didn't bring back one Reardon or Bauer for Mo's funeral...did anyone think they would waste money and energy on poor sad Nadine?
    • I hate to be that person, but Monday’s episode was a mess. The editing was an eyesore—felt like multiple scenes got chopped mid-way through. Anita’s singing was completely over the top. And while TT can sing, something about her performance just felt off—her voice was actually kind of grating   Leslie’s motivations make zero sense, unless we’re supposed to believe she just thrives on chaos. Her smirking while her daughter got locked out? That was straight-up cartoon villain territory. Once again, the Duprees came off like a full-on mob—especially the girls, who acted more like petty mean girls than anything else. And don’t get me started on Kat and Eva. Their dialogue was repetitive and totally unrealistic. “We have opposite fairy tales”? Seriously? Give me a break.(not that literally though, I want my episodes daily!!)
