October 10, 200916 yr Member nothing about anything on days is higly. you can tell. i like the woman, so if i seen anything that reminded me of her id boast about it. but she is there for two reasons - what she did during the strike and because for some reason corday doesnt seem to mess with her when shes there. I'm liking Days right now, and have liked it for the most part since the strike. There seems to be almost an obsessive dislike of Higley on the boards. I think she did some good things on OLTL and some really bad things. From my own point of view, I watched it when she was writer and don't watch it now. As far as Days, I watch it now and had not watched it in a long time until about two years ago. HS was writing when I started watchnig again and it was decent. I think someone right now is doing something right on Days, and I'm liking the show. Everybody was praising Y&R for this stupid sweeps stunt that wasn't even done during sweeps and now look! The ratings are back where they were and they didn't even benefit bc it isn't sweeps. Why do people buy into this every time? Y&R's ratings last week were nothing to rave about. I'm not enjoying Y&R much right now because of the Adam/Ashley storyline and the lame baby swap story. I do think the show has good fundamentals though. Much of the cast is very familiar, and with the exception of Adam has believable heroes/heroines and villains. I do think killing off Colleen was pointless, and the end to the Patty Douglass story was weird. Adam has become a cartoon character and the entire story that has focused on him is silly IMO. It is unfortunate about Adam because I think the actor is really good and the conflict between Adam, Victor, Nick and Victoria was a good story initially IMO.
October 10, 200916 yr Member Toups, do you have the ratings for The Price is Right Repeats? TPIR 3 (3:00pm) 1.4 HH 0.5 W18-49 TPIR 4 (3:30pm) 1.6 HH 0.6 W18-49 Actually, that's no worse than GL. That show really was dead, eh? I expect that LMAD will do much worse than GL, though.
