The girl is dating a hot hunk who has a edgy dark side

The dark hunk gets wrongly accused or framed for something

then the girl`s arch nemesis or ex lover comes in with something to free the hunk

however the girl has to marry him

at the wedding the girl almost marries him but is whisked away by the recently freed hunk

Its the same plot over and over again and Y&R`s was good but seeing as i loate Daniel i wanted Amber to wed Deacon (Just because Kanan is awesome as Deacon)

There was another on GL when Beth almost married Alan for some unknown reason and then Phillip stormed the wedding before the idos.

I just want to know is everyone fed up with this story plot or does anyone mind it happening then and there?

Any others remember past ones like Talia forced to marry that prince in OLTL.

Or Annie right now marrying Adam for his money i guess.

they remind me of a piss poor version of sami & ej on DAYS when HS was writing to be honest.

Don't forget about the lovely 'was that rape/no she really wanted it deep down' storytelling.

I should add the edgiest darkest side of Daniel is Phyllis and at odd times Amber (though she's more annoying than edgy)

I like Deacon, I think Amber is a waste of space, but yeah this storyline is snoozeworthy, Y&R could be using SK in much better ways.

its the same stuff used in every soap.Yeah its evil to watch the man control her and heartbreaking to watch her go down the aisle in a wedding dress she hates almost in tears.It annoys me and it happens in every soap...boring.
