No way. Victor's worse. God, I hate Jack so much.

Just like Billy staying with Chloe, Ashley remaining at the mansion is just ridiculous. She could've stayed with Olivia for God's sakes. She just shouldn't be at that mansion right now.

I gotta give it to MS too. She's just so good all the time and so subtle that she doesn't get the enough praise on this board.

I can't wait to see Nick be an [!@#$%^&*] tomorrow. At least he'll be something.

I get a part of Billy and Chloe's dynamic is a bit of co-dependency seemingly being developed. Billy doesn't take initiative. I buy that the character loves his daughter but what's being sold is that Chloe makes him a better parent. It's wierd and no doubt will become dysfunctional but I buy it and I like for the two of them

I still can't get on board with this. I just feel like others on Y&R have been more consistent than she has this year. Not hating, but really she's had one stand out day, the day Phyllis kicked Nick out. The day she slapped Jack was good, but too short anyway.

I am beyond sad that this stuff is even in print or rumor. <_< But I am not surprised by this, I fear it is most likely only going to get worse. I hope she stays but I sort of want her to tell them to kiss her *** because someone of her tenure and the importance of her character should not be treated in this manner. When I turn on my telly to watch the show I most certainly am not excited or going to ever get excited to see Tyra, Ana, Amber, Jana, Colleen etc...when I would rather watch Nikki.

See it's the subtlety of playing the wronged wife who finally thought she met the love of her life and a family she has always wanted who has been betrayed time and time again. And seeing as it is the Phyllis character, she is supposed to react in ways that we wouldn't normally see her do or expect. I am not sure what people are expecting in terms of how it is supposed to be portrayed over a battering period of what are we talking about here, 9 months. IMO, it's supposed to be a gradual build up of reactions. For example the scenes you just described it is as if everyone is expecting all out passionate anger all the time while I am expecting the portrayal to be more visceral at first, then resentment sets in, then anger and then resignation that she has no control over whatever her husband is about to do (which we will see tomorrow).

Phyllis needs a new love interest, like today. Preferably played by a really good actor too, not Morrow.

I like Phyllis and Jack and though they'll be

tomorrow. I feel like they need to be separated for a while, and Phyllis needs to get the hell out of Nick's universe and be her own person again.

I think MS have been excellent this year. I think she played all the beats, she managed to make me chuckle then cringe at Phyllis hypocrisy/discomfort/pain and hurt and she made me feel the depth of her anger. How-ever it's all subjective and a matter of opinion

I hope they never lose this quality of the character, but I don't mind seeing some depth in her either and it gives EH opportunities to show her stuff more

I disagree, she's been consistently on point. Before I had Jess Walton pegged as number 1, but then Judith Chapman came and dragged her down. Nia Peebles still gave the best performance though on soaps this year, bar none.

I wonder if MS' performances may have changed any story plans or if the story is all going according to plan. A few months ago Phyllis was starting to get really, really psycho again, but this has since been toned down. Perhaps this is just calm before the storm, but I hope they decided not to paint her too far into the corner.

I've said this before, Stafford can be lazy and had been up until not too long ago. Heck we were all here just a short while ago talking about how disappointing her performance was when Phyllis destroyed Sharon's room. I don't expect all out passionate anger all the time, but I don't think she's been as consistent as Walton nor Case this year. Case never gets mentioned because she's a less showy actress and is more subtle, but is easily doing the best work of her career and has been the entire year.

I'm going to be honest. I think Stafford is getting the "OMG she's got the Emmy" type of replies because it's been a while since she's actually really shown up. But one or two good scenes, while great, is just that, one or two good scenes or episodes. She's not consistent. She seems to be getting her fire back, and that's fantastic, but she just got it back. She has not been delivering all year, I'm sorry, she hasn't IMO (and it's strange we're having this discussion because in January and February many people in this thread were saying the same thing).

Say what you will about someone like Peter Bergman, but I don't believe that man has ever taken a day off or has a lazy acting bone in his body (even if he does tend to play Jack as too much of a pansy at times).

When Stafford wants to be, she's one of the best actresses in daytime. The woman has an insane amount of talent.
