Woah, what? "Proof that she's an addict?" This is just an unsubtantiated rumor, right?

Because poor, poor lady, if that is the case. And a mother to two little kids.

Are we sure people aren't just throwing the word "addict" around because Heinle is thin and model-y and speaks in a monotone?

I agree with what others have said about CF, her last two days have been good, and I'm looking forward to today (in US). It also seems that they've figured out what to do with her hair and not fugly her out. The Chloe/Mac conversation I really liked too--kinda uneasy peace or something.

THe MJ/Paul scenes worked for me, mainly because it's nice to see Paul not being a lap dog.

Wow, ITA. I feel exactly the same way but of course you expressed that much better than I could.

Adam is such a good character to love to hate. Like Dorian on OLTL or Adam on AMC. He has the makings of it at least.

I think this recast is done at such an unfortunate time because Engen had his own beats and characteristics that I think he was beginning to develop for this character that was very nuanced and deliciously subtle. I like that he isn't as expressive as LeBlanc or Braeden (back in the day). But he had to be so guarded for this whole plan to work. If he kept doing the usual sly glances out of the corner of his eye or the overly-used soap smirk, then I doubt this s/l would've worked as well.

I'll be sad to see him go but I do wish this new guy the best. Adam and Rafe are exactly the storyline y&r needs to tell to usher in homosexuality in Genoa City. I just hope after it's all said and done, Rafe finds a hottie worth his time lol.

I really liked today's episode, and Nina is on the trail! I love the way she recounted Cane's background and just how bizarre that whole mess was. It was as if they were using Nina to criticize Latham.

Clemintine definitely looks better in a ponytail.

Loved Amber and Chole too, they make great friends.

I loved the scenes at Cassie's grave and the music scores they used. Funny enough, they used Cassie's theme all this week, but I don't think they used it in this episode.

Cassie's theme =

Sharon Case is a really natural crier. I also loved Phyllis overhearing Sharon confessing to being pregnant to Nick.

Here's the clip of the scenes at Cassie's grave, listen for the music cues.

But, the sins of the mother are not necessarily visited unto the daughter. She could be a cool chick who follows instructions.

That said, her comments about Miss California do suggest she might have a little 'tude in real life. In fact, I wonder if she's been trying to reign in a naturally bawdy personality...and that explains part of the restraint we have seen in Mackenzie.

I think a big part of the way she came off in her initial weeks on the show was the writing and them telling her to act that way. I notice when they give her lighter, more fluffy material, she isn't personality-less. But also, Mac is a very bland character regardless of who plays the role.

Clementine was much better I'll agree and seemed to share some chemistry with Raul. LOVE LOVE LOVED the scenes between Amber/Chloe, Amber/Nina and all three thrown together. It showed how well Nina fits into the canvas now. It's almost as if she didn't leave. She has a great wit and is just what Genoa City needed. Today was nice as we finally got to see her take the spotlight and delve into what Nina's thinking. I'm definitely more excited to learn more about this story now. Having Nina unravel the mystery of Cane is going to be fantastic!

I hope that Raul's return turns out to be a long term one. David Lago was always my favorite of that teen set and certainly the sexiest. The only thing I don't look forward to is how poorly everyone pronounces his name. I loved that the writers finally acknowledged that when he left the previous time. Now we just need JT there to have a full reunion. I hate how far he's been removed from this group. Put him in a tank top and some shorts and put JT back where he belongs! It devastates me how much Amelia Heinle dragged him down.

Something else I found interesting was the moment where Nina saw Raul. I would love for them to make him her long lost child down the road. That could be a big story for next year.

We'll see how this thing with Raul develops. Up to now, she was always so secretive and it seemed like she had trouble going through any of her lines; they were so lifeless. But then again, it could have been the writing. Either way, CF seems to be improving.

Loved today's episode.

- Nina and Amber make quite the pair. I echo the previous post who stated that Nina's lines were a direct attack on LML's sloppy logic with the baby-switch. The screenplay thing sort of was meh in the begining, just like Kay's memoirs, but I like it as a dvice to investigate the past.

- Raul really blew me away. And Mac has finally come to life - Julia, your prayers have been answered!

- Chloe is such a great character. I love how she deals with problems in a modern 2009, self-aware way, not a soap, "fretting-over-her-husband" way. And EH does it so well.

- MAB has officially brought Friday cliff-hangers back. i almost wished I lived in Canada (me no like cold).

- Were these two conversation episodes in a row?
