Despite his snarkiness, I appreciate Nelson publicizing the GL rally on May 22nd as well as his mentioning that Krista Tesreau is filming scenes as Mindy again.

I didn't know Mindy was coming back, that's great. I hope this time will involve more of the Lewises.

As much as I love Judith, I would be relieved if it was her. She's the most expendable of all the Y&R actors that have been mentioned.

But I wouldn't be surprised if it was someone from B&B (preferably Ronn Moss). I'm sure Don Diamont didn't come cheap, and further budget cuts would be required if they were to bring on Rick Hearst.

If the news about MTS is true, I am not surprised considering how the soaps are going these days. I hope that MTS takes the recurring. I would not like Nikki to leave permanently because in time, they may yet create a place for her on the show.

I adored GT on Dynasty and then Santa Barbara. I loved his Adam. He was a mess of insecurities. I hated that they had him raped Kirby. I loved that when Alexis realized that Adam could go to prison for whatever scheme he did, she took the rap. She was a monster, but she adored her children. It was great that despite everything Adam had done when Blake and Alexis found out that he was not their biological son, they were like "whatever we love you anyway." Adam finally had the love and acceptance that he need to heal his psyche.

I'm the one who posted the MTS information. None of it was confirmed, I was just passing along information that I heard. If anyone tells you that something is confirmed or set in tone, they're lying, LoL.

I love MTS, but Jess is a far superior actress IMO...

Nelson said the full story will be revealed in tomorrows Nelson Ratings. I think it's very likely that it's MTS as well. If it's true then it's a shame Y&R is doing what all other soaps, daytime and primetime, do to their female talent. It's shameful how unappreciated women are in a women's medium. I'm so sick of this happening repeatedly with the women and rarely the men. Just like the racial issues nobody wants to address, daytime is also very sexist.

^^^I'm not talking about acting though. I think fans would be more upset (not talking internet) losing Melody/Nikki than they would Jess. Also, I don't think Jess is a "far superior" actress to Melody. Both have extremely different acting styles, and I think they compliment each other quite nicely.

You think so? Melody seems to have had her presense on the show marginalized over the past few months, whereas Jess is getting much meatier material to play again. Sure everything is subject to change, but the Jill character does have a longer history with the show than Nikki does.

For the record, I'd be pissed if Y&R lost Melody too, and I do not think the show would be the same without her.
