Did you all see, on Sharon's phone, close to the top of her address book, was "C. Blair". THAT was interesting to see....

Provocateur. :)

It does not take away from the fact that Ashley gets...disdainful. With Diane. With Gloria. With Nikki. With Estella. Snobbishness is one of her consistent negtive traits.

I love Estella. Could be because I always hated Saint Ashley who could steal sperm and still get the proverbial pass from most of her family and even Victor. When John called her "My Beauty" while referring to Tracy as "Pumpkin" I always cringed.

I think the actress who plays Estella is good. No way is she gaslighting Ashley. It is too obvious, and I feel genuine outrage and hurt when Ashley is accusing her. I remember when they gave Miguel that one story where he dated the maid who was the nutty ex of Nikki's current husband Joshua Landers. I loved the story of Nikki getting shot and the deathbed wedding and Victor's quickie divorce from Diane, but watching Miguel actually in his own little story was painful. I was relieved when he went back to serving the family.

You know I was never a big fan of Cricket's, but I could see her doing some good back on the canvas now especially if they move forward with the Paul and Nikki romance. Lauren will always dislike her, so she would let Lauren be snarky. And Heather is a joke as the ADA. I always bought Christine in court and she worked well off CLB. I would rather Christine be the new DA than Heather.

I agree. Ashley has always been a snob, even towards her little sister.

Normally I would say no, but she is better than watching Heather as ADA. And she might give some story to characters that desperately need some story, namely Paul and Lauren. I doubt she would eat the show like she did when her father was writing.

Your post made me remember the headline in 2008 that Cricket would be returning for something. I think most everyone thought it would be for Kay's funeral or something, but i wonder if it had to do with Paul's rumored death. I also wonder if her decision to not come back had anything to do with TPTB's choice to kill Brad rather than Paul.

I'm glad for Doug, either way, cause he's less castable than Don, IMO.

ITA. I'm loving Estella in this gaslighting Ashley story. I have started watching regularly because of this story. I like how they have slowly built up the antagonist relationship between Estella and Ashley. Ashley is not wrong to suspect Estella. Whoever is doing in has access to the house and property, Estella has access to Sabrina's things and Estella does not like Ashley. But of course, Estella is obviously innocent. Ashley is so financially secure that she cannot comprehend that Estella would not do something like this out of spite because she cannot afford to lose her job. When all is said and done, I hope we get a scene of Ashley eating humble pie and apologizing for her accusations. This story rocks.

She said she would come back if Doug had a good story and she was needed for his story. She doesn't want to just be used for one or two appearances for a special event. We all know the end game will be Victor and Nikki, so instead of having Nikki leave someone for Victor, maybe have Paul leave her for his true love. They could play this out for awhile since Paul is a decent guy and he has been friends with Nikki forever.

We haven't gotten humble pie served to anyone except Gloria. Chloe, IMO, never really did the sorry thing. Nor did Jill for all her attempts to deny Kay her name. I'd like Ash to get some a la' mode! :)

    • Funny I randomly saw Kami’s lengthy post about the 44th anniversary of the Walton’s finale last week pop up in my news feed on Facebook. A few inaccuracies to her post but overall it was pretty insightful and interesting to read.
    • Well, depending on rewrites...Jennifer Richards potentially slept with Brandon and Alan. It does feel like we're forgetting someone, but then again, maybe I'm confusing that with brothers, which would include a lot more.
    • Maybe it’s me, and the fact that RC isn’t at the helm, but since Cwikly and Ford have taken over I’ve noticed the show doing a lot of things differently directing wise, and since the storyline of John’s demise began, the show has been using different scores, and dare I say better ones than this time last year. It’s interesting and I wonder if the any of it is Noel Maxam’s influence before being promoted.
    • I think Nicole is about to figure out what's going on between Andre and Dani.
    • @Efulton thank you. I don't know how I missed it or didn't recall it.  I'll blame amnesia . Anyway @Errol Could the newer thread be merged to the existing? Thanks in advance.
    • I just finished watching and I have to admit, not once did I find myself wondering who wasn't there. Quick question for anyone who followed this better than I did: was it only Andrew who rescued Cat and John from Clyde, or was Shane involved too? The reactions during their scenes today felt a little off to me. I know it was meant to be vague, but I didn't find it strange that they already knew each other.
    • Yeah, financially, Luna is in better shape than Deacon and Sheila.   -- Scott Clifton must have decided to chew the scenery in every scene of this "Liam is Dying" storyline. Yikes.
    • If J.R. wasn't busy with Ewing Oil, he'd be a heckuva soap recapper. He was SO gleeful at recapping Jenna-Bobby-Pam when the trio and Mark encountered each other at the Oil Baron's Ball. That being said, Lucy, presumably Sue Ellen and maybe Ray should all know this story, or at least part of it. Lucy was definitely at Southfork during Jenna and Bobby's relationship, and I believe Sue Ellen was about to marry J.R. around the time Jenna jilted Bobby. (Ray might not have given a damn.)

Programs, yet untitled, "will deal with problems teen-agers face in their relationships with peers and parents," with script topics reviewed in advance by teachers, psychologists and others. First episode is to air on Meredith's five TV's in September and ground broadcaster also anticipates syndication. If successful, idea is to go to full-fledged series.
