April 2, 200916 yr Member I really hope all soaps, except GH, go up. However im almost certin GH will rise, Days will suffer a loss, and the rest will pretty much be the same.
April 2, 200916 yr Member I think the soaps' tanking rebound this week. They usually do since random events like the weather are often responsible for the wild fluctuations that occur. I always wonder where the 100,000 people go when soaps drop so rapidly like GH. Likely they went out for ice cream or on vacation.
April 2, 200916 yr Member I believe "Guiding Light" ratings will rebound this week from 1.5 back to 1.7 or perhaps higher after a 3-day airing week during the March Madness Tournament. This show is rocking with much-improved writing and strong cast.
April 2, 200916 yr Member I wish you were right Rocketman, but i don't think quality equals ratings otherwise B&B would be cancelled instead of GL. I am not buying this rumor of GH having the lowest viewership this week, and if they do it will be like a 1000 viewer difference or something. They will still have a .1 or .2 lead in the 18-49 demo. ATWT, AMC, and OLTL will probably tie. I loved OLTL last week- it was HEAVY on Stacey, and she was EVIL. I am curious if OLTL will continue the trend of adding a small amount of viewers. And I am always interested in Days ratings- the only show that is fun to see what happens numberswise.
April 2, 200916 yr Member Days, Y&R, BB, OLTL, GL and ATWT will rise this week. AMC will be the only Soap to fall probably 200,00 viewers.
April 2, 200916 yr Member I really hope all soaps, except GH, go up. However im almost certin GH will rise, Days will suffer a loss, and the rest will pretty much be the same. I hope GH goes down since their IIC don't care what viewers want. The ones who quit and aren't watching Y&R yet should check it out because it is what a soap should be. I never miss a day of Y&R.
April 2, 200916 yr Member Days, Y&R, BB, OLTL, GL and ATWT will rise this week. AMC will be the only Soap to fall probably 200,00 viewers. AMC to lose 200,000 viewers!! That would be like a 1.8 rating! You not enjoying AMC?? lol
April 2, 200916 yr Member I hope there's a bump for everybody this week. I'd rather have soap that I can complain about rather than no soaps at all.
April 2, 200916 yr Member DAYS will not see an increase that will affect their household rating. In fact, I bet they drop 0.1.
April 2, 200916 yr Member Sorry, Nope! After what happen with GL getting cancelled. I really want AMC to do well, but the writing is so horrible. AMC to lose 200,000 viewers!! That would be like a 1.8 rating! You not enjoying AMC?? lol
April 2, 200916 yr Member Let's see GL go up. And again next week and the week after, etc. Please. It would serve the self-destructive morons at CBS right.
