It's so clear the only use for ethnic residents are to be the help. Why does Victor need Zapato when he has Neil Winters?

Marcille isn't going to last much longer because she's going to want to move on. They REFUSE to invite Rowell back because she's "too much" to deal with. I find that laughable considering Bergman and Braeden are still employed.

Everyone keeps yammering about how great Maria is, while she does everything in her power to undo the diversity that Bill Bell instilled onto his canvas. I'm sure he would be so proud.

If I were Kristoff, I'd be looking for another job. Black folks are on the endangered species list in Genoa City. The future looks dark. Or should I say white?

I don't recall either of those two giving interviews that spilled any behind the scenes conflicts to the press. Rowell asked to be let out of her contract, they didn't fire her, and she didn't leave when her contract was up. I don't think they owe anything to her. It's quite obvious, from what she's said herself, she wasn't very happy with many actors and crew members there, so why would she want to come back?

I like Rowell and Dru, but she clearly has problems with many people there, problems she's had no hesitation spilling to the press. Why would management want her back?

Diversity on Y&R was a problem long before Maria. Jack Smith turned the Winter's into the PSA family and got rid of Olivia. Latham did nothing with the Winter's except making Dru go crazy, and back burning Kristoff. Maria inherited a family that was already broken. She's tried, unsuccessfully of course, to help them by adding Tyra and Ana into their storyline, but it hasn't worked.

VR conflicts with the show is not a one way street. From how the actress come off I gather it's less about personal animosity and more about the drive for the charcter and the fans; the passion for the work. Sure Maybe myself and alot of people would say we don't go where we are not wanted, but I can only imagine in an industry such as the soap industry an actor has to quickly learn what ground he/she stands on in the face of adversity. It'd be weak for her to be as talented as she is and understand the dynamics of her charcter as much as she obviously does and be scared to come back on set because she and certain people there do not like each other. I say "oh well too bad, everyone get over it they are there to work!" But alas I'm afraid the show seems to not want to deal with her presence more than they want to continue Bill's legacy and vision so maybe to them it is that bad....
