Y&R: "Dead Gal Talking"

From the new TV Guide:

The Young and the Restless takes a wild leap March 26, when the entire episode is narrated by the corpse of Marge, the greasy-spoon waitress played by Jeanne Cooper. Marge's bod is exhumed for DNA testing, so she takes the opportunity to drop some snarky commentary about the denziens of Genoa City. The sight of Cooper chatting from a coffin(and closing the lid on herself at the end of the hour) is tres bizarre, but isn't it cool-especially in this youth-mad nation-that daytime's No. 1 soap is being driven by an 80 year old actress? Kudos to Cooper, and Y&R, for breaking the rules.

Oh sweet, I like the attempt to change things up, like they did with "Katherine's funeral" when Marge spoke directly to us.

I love it, that was fantastic before when she narrated her own funeral. Nikki must still believe Katherine if they are exhuming the body. Even cooler would be if she's starting to rot a bit, but I doubt it. It would have been easier to test Katherine against her own fingerprints/hair left in her room, but this is far more Soapy.

I am looking forward to this one. I love love Jeanne Cooper shes one of the last true greats left on Daytime and when I see shes going to be on the show for the day. I tune into every word. She's truly an amazing actress!
