Well atleast we can pick and choose what we watch i FF the storylines i find boring. If there is an interesting storyline with an older character maybe i will watch. But if the show is called the "Young and Restless" the younger characters should be front burner material like the veterans too. Im so glad that Abby and Eden came to Y&R hopefully we will be seeing more of these 2 im glad their screentime has been increased i have hope! ;)

Well Y&R must think that Haley Erin and Vanessa Marano are good actresses and this why they have been cast. So i think they are very good actresses and see nothing wrong with them. If they were so bad they would of been fired!.

Liz Hendrickson is actually a mature enough actress to play layers to her character. Sure, Chloe acts irrationally at time, but the insecurities and defense mechanisms she plays are fascinating. She's completely understandable and you're able to connect with her on an emotional level, because even when she's doing something incredibly stupid and bone-headed, EH finds a way to play it that grounds it in reality. I have yet to see the acting chops in either VM or HE that connect me with them.

ETA: Sorry - my original post had Colleen, but then I went back and realized that wasn't who we were talking about. Edited.

Elizabeth Hendrickson is a decent actress but not what i would call fantastic i cant take her seriously.

Vanessa and Haley Erin are good too and they are so young but they will improve with age. Atleast they are better then phony Amber!!

Y&R is a multigenerational soap opera that gives respect to its veteran cast members. Unlike the rest of daytime (aside from B&B) Y&R has resisted the extreme ageism that is propogated throughout the rest of daytime, the very same ageism that appears to have crept into your viewpoint.

If you don't like what you see on Y&R, don't watch. The show doesn't need you.

    • And, Gio is Rocco's half-brother, siblings.
    • Yes, I would agree that she has some rights to tell Dante because it's their son's brother and it's very unfair Dante never knew.  The whole scenario is odd to me because I don't know why Dante or Olivia were kept in the dark in the first place.  I think Dante would have absolutely accepted Brook Lynn's choice.   I can see Olivia possibly having some issues with it, but she never got the option to react either.
    • Head trip for EON fans and thanks to @GymnastGuy who's been posting tons of Search episodes on YouTube.  SFT August 22 1985 episode Executive Producer: Erwin Nicholson who produced Edge for nearly two decades; this was his last job (9 months starting March 85 through Nov). Co -Head Writer (with Paul Avila Mayer) Stephanie Braxton who played Winter on Edge Actors: Joe Lambie (Logan) as Lloyd; Lois Kibbee as Grandmere (she stepped in for the Maureen O'Sullivan who had played the part for a few episodes, Lee Godart (Elliot) as Bella; Louise Shaeffer (Serena/Josie) as Stephanie. Other non Edge tidbits: Audrey Peters (Van Love of Life); John Loprieno (Cord OLTL) Of course SFT was filmed at EUE studios where Edge had taped. Most of the technical crew were Edge crew for decades.  Background music same as Edge (Elliot Lawrence productions).

    • Ahh...so in that case it's more of a gray area. But I still think Lulu  has ground to tell Dante as she co-parents with him.
    • Well Disney owns the archive of all ABC soaps plus Santa Barbara. There are no known plans for Disney to do anything at all with the archive. Some of us are very excited because GH has done modern digitizing of original scenes of young Lucky & young Liz to use as flashbacks now & the past few months. Jerome Dobson last year teased that Santa Barbara might be streamed sometime. It had been tied up in some litigation & that is over now. The reason Disney owns it: it was owned by New World. FOX bought them. Disney bought all of FOX.
    • I casually watched it as a kid, but I finally started X-Men: The Animated Series season 1. It's going to be fun watching it from beginning to end.
    • Thank you very much for the information!!! All the episodes that person sells are the ones which appear or have appeared in youtube, and some have wrong dates.  Due to that, I guess some people, who have rare and inedite episodes, refuse to upload them in internet, because then, others make money. I hope ABC create a place in the net where we can see all the available episodes they must have, as Retro tv did with the Doctors!!!! Retro tv did an awesome job!!!! Have a look :

    • Dina was Jack, Ashley and Tracy's mom on Y&R.  Joanna was Lauren Fenmore's mother, played by Susan Seaworth-Hayes.
    • The funeral was not onscreen - only the Brooks returning home after the service. Not aware of any available clips.
