ITA...I think it's going to be Tyra and Neil. Neil needs a kid of how own. Ditto, Tyra. We know that Nia is probably on her way out. A baby would cause lots of problems with singing girl, Lily (jealous because baby is the real child) and the probably soon to be ex, Karen.

Sharon and Nick won't have a baby like this. It would need to be an EVENT.

OMG, if it is Tyra, I'm quitting the show. (Not really, but I can pretend).

The "15 pregnancy tests" confuses me...but I wonder if menopausal hormones could do that? I don't want Ash to lose another baby (insanity alert! breakdown alert!) With Kevin and Sharon and, to some extent Kay, we don't need another breakdown!

On the other hand, if "Sharin'" is NOT pregnant, then kudos to the writers for sidestepping the obvious and cliched storyline in that arc.

Ghost-Cassie implied Nick and Sharon would have another daughter. I do expect that will come true before the actors become infertile.

Since it bothers me that soaps don't research medical facts I did a google search on positive pregnancy tests and menopause. The only time that happens is when women think they are going through menopause and stop using birth control only to wind up pregnant. Pregnancy tests react to very specific hormones only produced during pregnancy, not menopause. If they want something to happen, have Ashley pregnant with an ectopic pregnancy.

The elevation of hCG during menopause is well documented.

http://www.devicelink.com/ivdt/archive/03/04/010.html

"Pregnancy can be detected at a very early stage by immunological determination of the placental hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in urine or serum. A large number of pregnancy tests are available both for professional use and as home tests sold over-the-counter (OTC). Ease of use and reliability of the tests are important and this is particularly the case for home tests. Reliable performance depends on a compromise between sensitivity and specificity of the test. While the ability to detect pregnancy as early as possible by using a test with high sensitivity is stressed by some experts, others consider lack of false-positive results, i.e. high specificity, to be even more important. False-positive results can be caused by poor design of a test or by physiologically elevated hCG occurring in connection with the menopause. While the menopause is seldom an issue in young women, premature menopause does occur and, as in pregnancy, one of the first signs is a missed period."

Hope this helps explain how the numerous tests could indeed, be false-positive!

ROFL...I had to come back and quote myself!!! I was just joking about Sharon sleeping with Jack too and now apparently it's true!!:lol: Good grief!! I don't expect much at all from this predictable Sharon breakdown story...it's just a way to have Nick come riding in on his "white horse" to save the "perpetual damsel in distress"!:rolleyes: Because heavens knows he will cure all her pain and he is a psychiatrist too..who would've thunk it!! Excuse me while I throw up!!

It's no wonder why men think women are the weaker sex, not even soap writers can pen a story in the "reel world" where women kick major a@#!!!
