Right, Paul and Andy. I remembered Paul having a really close friend when he was a teen. I guess somehow I confused Andy with Dusty.

Thanks for refreshing my memory, guys. :D

Your welcome.

I just hate when history is rewritten. It insults the long term viewers who have sticked by the show. And it pisses me off!!

One more -- Not enough attention to family ties and reactions except when convenient and needed as a plot point

The show bites in one big way: dead romances.

-- Couples that are established, happy, and have been together for some time are on backburner (Kim and Bob, Margo and Tom, Holden and Lily - not that I care for the latter)

-- Couples that are happy and relatively recent are used as filler (Nuke, Brad and Katie)

-- Signature couples are turned shredded. I once loved Carly and Jack, now I wouldn't mind if she lit the guy on fire and kept walking. Jack treats Carly like a booty call even when they're not sleeping together. That he would expect her to embrace impending poverty, lose it all, rather than take a loan from Craig while he takes out a second mortgage on THEIR home where THEIR children live? Loser. Then he stops Carly from marrying Craig and tells others, when she's not around, that he doesn't care what happens to her.

-- Couples that should never be together are. Dusty and Meg, despite their long history. They've come a long way since her plan to use him and have Holden use Lily... now the way she uses him is more subtle, and not malicious. There's Parker and Liberty... stepsib/cousin kiddos bumping uglies, not hot! Josie and ??? ANYONE, soapgod forbid she end up with Paul, that'll be a new twist on daytime's fascination with pseudo incest.

Very true!!

)

I agree. If they dont want to use them as a couple then use them in their own story...example Kay on Y&R.

I couldn't have said it any better or clearer. Jack is an asshat. I also wouldn't mind Carly giving Jack the ax!!

Well I wouldnt mind Dusty and Meg as long as they were a couple for the right reasons. And not just a smoke screen to pimp Meg and Paul at the end.

Parker and Liberty are just wrong in so many ways. They are so puke worthy!!

ATWT could be easily fixable if they actually told actual storylines. Nothing on this show feels like it's heading anywhere, because it isn't. It feels like a bunch of randomness that only has a point for maybe 2 weeks and then it's on to something else. The pace is too ridiculously fast on this show.

Word. I yearn for the days of the Jenn/Gwen baby switch and the Carly/Iris Dumbrowski storyline. It was clear that JPiss knew exactly where she was going with those colliding stories, and though many didn't necessarily like the direction, there was direction. She hasn't written anything since that was as mapped out as those particular storylines. I remember I couldn't wait to watch ATWT every day- to me, it was superior to every soap on the air. Sad that we have the exact same team in place and everything is a muddled foolish mess.

Oh dear you wont give up.;)

NEVER! I will not stop until Mark & Mike are back lighting up my screen. Check out the MENRY chemistry in this clip.

That reminder enough for ya Ron? :P And since I've whet your appetite, here's the follow-up clip.

Damn, Mark is so hot! I can't believe the guy is still single at his age.

LOL at Henry peeking at Mike stripping naked. I don't think I saw that the first time it was shown. I was too busy looking at Mark. They do have chemistry. But ATWT will never go there. I wish Henry would have made the moves on Mike.

So is Victor Webster, who is uber-hot. You know what they say about single actors in their 30s...... :)

I caught it the first time around I think. Gotta love how badly Mike keeps losing. Anyhow, I really don't want the writers to go there anyway- I just love the blatant homoeroticism of their relationship. Sometimes less is more.

News flash (and I have a very reliable source on this): Clooney is a friend of Dorothy. Or maybe that's what you were implying! :P

Yeah, to be honest, I kind of like Lindstrom as Craig also. I didn't think I would- in fact I was all set to hate him, but it turns out I was wrong.
