LOL, I know I'm fighting a losing battle. Not that I'm a secret CC fan, I guess there was something in SH's delivery yesterday that bugged. The gasping laughing thing she does which is right on the edge of tears or a nervous breakdown. It's very real and it worked perfectly in November when Todd's deceit was revealed. It works here, too, but I guess I just wasn't in the mood to feel the pain of the human condition yesterday.

I think it's also because I don't really care about the Great John & Marty Love Story. The only time I liked John yesterday was in his scenes with Cole and Roxy.

Oh everyone has their tastes! I myself am loving it because THIS is the fallout of the story that made the Todd/Marty amnesia re-rape nonsense palatable for me, when all the detractors were swearing to the heavens that there was no fallout intended and the "love" WAS the story. I'm savoring it, and Haskell is hitting all the right beats for me. I am also enjoying it because they AREN'T throwing Marty and John back together, so I don't feel like I'm being sold a romance that I never really saw unfold on-screen. They're keeping John with Blair (at least for now) and Marty is as frustrated by John as anyone else in her life. I'm loving it. Wes is actually the perfect twist for the story because Marty needed someone fresh and detached from the drama and who had no history in Llanview. I just hope they commit to it and I hope Justin Khan can handle the work.

I really don't like John any time. He doesn't even seem to like Roxy anymore! Although Roxy's kind of grating on me now because she's so obsessed with other people's love lives and getting married and having babies that I really just want her to get her own life... but I'm sure she won't, so I really won't have much use for her much longer.

LOL, it really struck me when Wes was talking to Marty. Something the expression he had, the shape of his face and his eyes reminded of one of your avatars. It's true!

Well I'm still flattered. Does that mean that my attraction to Wes and his nipples makes me a narcissist???

Wes and those tattoos. Yummy yummy. lol

I loved when Blair told Tea she wouldn't know the truth if it smacked her in the face- and Todd and Tea LAUGHED.

That was kind of a funny reaction.

I love Lee Halpern (Pretty sure I am alone in this)

And I also love the connection between the teacher and the Dr.

This is what I don't get about soaps, and they go wrong with this VERY often... If Vanessa is supposed to be this black widow, seducing and destroying men, LET the audience SEE it. I feel like they're trying to be ambiguous with her, so that we won't know whether she or Ray is guilty of his wife's murder, but it just comes across as waffling with the character and we can't like her if the show hasn't even made a decision about who the hell she is supposed to be. It's frustrating watching Jacqueline Hendy trying to walk a tight rope between good and evil because she's not allowed to make any real acting choices, throw an eyebrow raise, or a devilish smirk, or fully commit to anything genuinely "sweet" if the subtext is that she's deceptive and hasn't been sweet for a minute of her life. Hendy is a sexy, dangerous-looking woman, but she's forbidden from playing her strengths in order to leave the character in a redeemable gray area, and so she is going against the grain of what the audience would expect to see from her and would be most likely to ACCEPT from her.

So she's pretty much doomed because she's been on the show for months and the audience has NO idea who she is and therefore can't invest. And that doesn't even take into account the audience's general resistance to new characters and the fact that Vanessa is an extension of Ray, who is an extension of Langston, who is an extension of Starr/Dorian. So Vanessa is about three times removed from anything that could be remotely considered the core of the show. Don't soaps understand after ALL these years what works and what doesn't????

You typed word to word about what I was thinking. :scary: :o

The story has the potential to be a audience pleaser, but at the moment they're just irritating fans with the "Did she or didn't she?" plot point. People usually criticize RC for going over the top, but a part of me wishes he would do with this story. Throw in the psycho scenes along with the music, to hint to us the viewers that she obviously is a black widow. By the time the show decides to let the cat out of the bag, everyone would have lost interest in the story.

Hell Lola has the potential to stir things up in Llanview, but they're going at that painfully slow as well.

When I first joined I posted A Ravenbeauty post from her site and I was mortified by the hatred for her (and me).

SO, for purely entertainment purposes only- Her latest was posted yesterday and from her clues-

Trevor St John WILL be leaving OLTL

From another clue- You would think Roger Howarth was returning... Some shocking return of a major castmember that is leaving long term cast members PISSED off (It could only be Howarth- the guy who destroys ATM's was not a major actor)

And from another clue- Some actress is PISSED off at OLTL regarding this turn of events...

Feel free to check it out for yourself. It is pretty funny because she spends PARAGRAPHS patting herself on the back and giving examples of things she blind item'ed that came true.

And I always love the responses:

You go girl!

Thanks so much for posting- It made my day girl!

Hey beautiful, Thank you so much for everything you do, girl!

Love ya Raven girl! Your the most beautiful gal in all the land! You work so hard for us princess!

Please dont Range. :) Didnt Raven say she meant Michael Easton? and that at the last minute he resigned?

Ya know, you might be right Jay- Go read it!

It really is a fun read (especially how she tries to explain everything that happened vs. her brilliant predictions and inside info.

I have to say that everything she says eventually happens- but I think it may be coincidence most of the time.

So I'm supposed to believe that Trevor St. John and Michael Easton were both set to go ? TSJ said in his interview the other day that he is not leaving, as his contract doesnt expire until 2010. I realize that doesnt mean much but if Ravens reason for the mean leaving is the economy, why the hell would someone leave a job because of that? I don't buy it. Yes, Todd is being phased out but he's being phased back in at this very moment. Nah Raven.

Have to agree with those two statements, but I get the feeling both are only around to be the fall guy. Wes as the real shooter of the Iraqi kid as a way to uncrazy Brody and the exquisite neurotic, Lee, as the latest bigger bad who makes Todd look less evil.

I don't like that at all! But I fear you are right.

"I love you too Blair"

LMAO...I always loved the Tea/Blair rivalry. Good times.

So, I will grant you I'm an old time TnT fan but I notice that this Todd hasn't used Tea's nickname yet. He called her "Delgado" far more than he ever called her Tea.

Wasn't that great? That Lozano woman came back with a vengeance this time. She is like godzilla.

Lee is awesomeness. I love that they are having her interact with Renee.

I have been sooooo waiting for that! Lee was one of Renee's "girls" back in Nevada, and after Lee "died" in 1988, Renee became a surrogate mother to Lee's daughter, Mari-Lynn. Good use of history today!

Range, learn how to quote! LOL Didn't you get my message? ;)

When you click on quote and then reply, it still needs the end part (/quote) <---- square brackets though [ ]

I thought today's episode was very good. It was beginning of new stories. I was pretty surprised that Scott Clifton's character is Dr. Joplin's son.

Nora finding the joint in Matthew's bag. :o

I'm really looking forward to this drugs storyline.

I wonder who is videotaping everyone. (obviously don't tell me) LOL

I'm glad Lee/Janet is back and that she's interacting with Renee. Hopefully we'll find out who her daughter is too.

Tea's "I love you, Blair" was funny. I love their rivalry too.
