And it seems that if Randi & Frankie aren't embraced by the audience it will be Frankie that is written out, not Randi.

I believe it was in SOW where Pratt basically said that he is still evaluating Randi & Frankie, and that if they don't work he can just write out Frankie by sending him back to Iraq once his DUI period is over.

I'll add this here: Apparently SOW is confirming that Lisa de Cazotte is indeed joining AMC as a producer, not the executive producer. (I have not seen the exact wording myself so they may just be reporting the rumor of her coming to AMC).

Please god don't let her have anything to do with casting.

So let me get this straight. A character that no one cares about, with no ties to anyone on the canvass, and portrayed by an actress with questionable talent is more important to the show than a character the audience does care about, with family ties to legacy characters, and portrayed by a good actor? There are no words...

Youtr right. I think TB is a talented actress but this storyline has become more about Reese than Bianca. I don't think its helped the character either. All the screetime and "moments" with Zach has made a lot of people distrust and/or dislike the character. I'm sure Pratt doesn't want us to dislike her but he's put her in a situation guaranteed to make her unsympathetic to many and its partly a result of his focus on Reese at the expense of Bianca.

I have only seen one set of fans taht don't really like her. For the most part on the boards I read at many do like her.

I think one of the reasons she is being focused on more than Bianca is that there may be more of a chance of holding on to her than it is Eden Riegel. Since Pratt and Braun are friends he may convince her to stay whereas I don't think there is any chance of getting Riegel to stay. If she had wanted to be on longer she would have signed longer. I think all she wants is short term since she has so many other projects going on.

Guest dc cubs

I have been a lurker here for quite awhile and this is my first post. I have been a fan of Eden Riegel's for a long time. I started watching AMC during Bianca's rape storyline. It's obvious to me that this is much more TB's story than Eden's which is a shame since Eden has an Emmy for the character of Bianca. So, yes I'm upset that once again Eden seems to be the secondary character. First the Zoe fiasco and now in this new storyline. This is coming from an Eden fan and not a Zendall fan.

I was excited to hear about Eden's return and looked forward to the story. Bianca deserves a happy ending and a love story just like any other character. I went into this new storyline with an open mind and I liked Rinks for a couple of weeks. Then they started inserting Zach in to the middle of things. That plus the fact that it doesn't seem like Bianca and Reese know each other well at all soured me quickly on things. For a couple that has a child together and is engaged to be married there is an awful lot they don't know about each other.

So yeah, I'm not liking Bianca's current storyline one bit. Just because I adore Eden doesn't mean I have to like a story she is in if it is poorly written. I can support her on her other ventures like Imaginary Bitches or Cooking to Get Lucky.

I'm not sure Braun is more likely to stay. She has stated recently that she doesn't want to be on a soap longterm right now. Maybe she might stay longer on AMC but I don't see her signing a multi-year contract. Before the writers strike she was getting indie films and guest spots on tv. But even if she is more likely to stay longer I don't think there is any good reason to make this story about a newbie we just met instead of a longterm character. I just think TB is a favorite of Pratt's so he is making the story more about her.

I've had a similar reaction to this storyline. Despite the awful babygate stuff I still wanted to see Bianca get a real romance and I liked the story the first few weeks. But then it became clear it would be more about Zach and Reese than Bianca and that this story wasn't really a love story at all. Or at least not a love story between Bianca and Reese. It's really turned into a terrible and offensive story.
