Nice to see The Dark Knight make the top 10 as it should be. Not familiar with Slumdog Millionaire.

It's getting a lot of buzz and the trailer looks fantastic. It looks like a really good love story.

Slumdog Millionaire is a fantastic film. Great love story, great family drama, and of course a great story about defying the odds. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it.

and The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button is an amazing film as well. Who ever says Brad Pitt cant act needs to see this.

I think it's always weird for people to speculate on movies that aren't really out yet. Who knows how the public will react to them yet. I know the Oscars aren't supposed to be a popularity contest, but at the same time, I think we should hear some public opinions other than just those who judge movies for a living.

I cannot wait to see Meryl Streep in Doubt! I think the Washington DC Film Critics played it safe with some of their choices though. I also can't wait for the Dark Knight to be released on DVD! I also plan on catching up with a lot of these films on my winter break.

ETA: "Burn After Reading" was a stupid film. Definitely NOT a top ten. The acting was unbearable IMO.

I'm glad Silmdog Millionaire is picking up lots of momentum. Though, when it comes to the Oscars, like Sideways, Little Miss Sunshine, and Juno before it, it will probably walk away with the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay, while a more mainstream picture walks away with the Best Picture prize.

I'm glad Dev Patel is getting most of the Breakthrough Performance critics awards as well. I know him from the British show Skins, a brilliant comedic show btw. He plays a crack smoking and sex hungry devout Muslim boy on it, his portrayal is hilarious. Silmdog Millionaire is only his first film, and SECOND professional acting role. He's proven to me that at the age of 18, he's incredibly versatile.

I think this is Anne Hathaway's year. She was a tour de force in Rachel Getting Married.

I'd like to see Michelle Williams nominated for Wendy and Lucy too. Brilliant performance.

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Film Critics will be revealing their winners, and the New York Film Critics will be revealing their winners on Wednesday.
