OH NO!!!! I'm not at all sure I can give up Coke Zero. This is appalling. By all rights, this should cost someone in Promotions a job!

Yeah. It's sad. And seeing the Jack Smith report, once again, Trump gets away with everything. I have resigned myself to the fact that he will get away with everything, won't be held accountable for anything, and unless we are lucky enough (which we won't be) to see him die soon of a heart attack, stroke, aneurism, etc. where the right-wing dingbats won't cry foul (as much) saying he was killed... he will be one of those lucky sons of bitches that eats garbage day in and day out and will still live to see the age of 102. 

It just makes me think instead of these are the days of my life, ...

Trump is boasting about this . . . because why? Because he's Trump.

The newsfeed keeps updating every few minutes on this, I can't keep up.
 

Times of Israel says that a ceasefire and hostage deal has been reached and reports that the US, Qatar and Egypt will shortly issue a joint statement.

Three US officials and a Hamas official have confirmed to Associated Press that a ceasefire deal has been reached.

One US official said that it was expected that the ceasefire would be implemented in the coming days.

From TheGuardian: The US president, Joe Biden, is preparing to address the breakthrough agreement on Thursday, officials said.

There are already people celebrating in the streets in both Gaza and Tel Aviv.

The Israeli government will vote on a Gaza ceasefire deal on Thursday, a government official told Reuters.  Any agreement still needs to be approved by Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet, but would be expected to go into effect in the coming days.

I have supported the Equal Rights Amendment for more than 50 years, and I have long been clear that no one should be discriminated against based on their sex. We, as a nation, must affirm and protect women’s full equality once and for all. 

On January 27, 2020, the Commonwealth of Virginia became the 38th state to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment. The American Bar Association (ABA) has recognized that the Equal Rights Amendment has cleared all necessary hurdles to be formally added to the Constitution as the 28th Amendment. I agree with the ABA and with leading legal constitutional scholars that the Equal Rights Amendment has become part of our Constitution.

It is long past time to recognize the will of the American people. In keeping with my oath and duty to Constitution and country, I affirm what I believe and what three-fourths of the states have ratified: the 28th Amendment is the law of the land, guaranteeing all Americans equal rights and protections under the law regardless of their sex.

Yeah. I'm glad to have this last weekend to myself to get my mind ready.
