Wowza at all the Bianca/Reese kissing. I like that ABC is allowing so much gay kissing! TB and ER do have lots of chemistry...

I really enjoyed the Krystal/David dark Wildwind scenes.

Really enjoying the Hubbard/Natalia/Rebecca stuff too.

LOL at the masked man - that totally looks like Aiden...but I don't get why he'd be the kidnapper.

Tracey Thompson is getting better for me - another solid script IMO.

What you just said about Bianca and Reese. Yeah, baby! I think Tamara and Eden are great and getting better together with each scene.

Thank you ABCD and AMC, are we moving forward at long last.

Loved the KWAK, David stuff. Their energy makes Tad and Krystal kinda sad to me. VI or David something has inspired BE, imo.

I care about the Hubbards but found myself wandering a bit. Natalia doesn't inspire as much sympathy in me as I think I am supposed to feel.

The actress who plays Randi is just stunningly beautiful. So striking. Hope spoikered interactions will get her acting game on a bit more.

Kidnapping. Completely zoned out, don't care anymore. Though the figure at the door made me laugh and the too-late-seeming automatic gunfire at Ryan kind of a odd moment. Just goes to show, simply can. not kill Ryan Lavery by gunfire. Cannot be done. *cries a little*

They found the formula to making AMC watchable: Tamara and Eden kissing. That should take up the entire hour of programming (and that's not my thing). Actually, I'd rather they just have a show that revolved around those two and everyone else being secondary characters.

The Bianca/Reese kissing was great. I can tell that Reese is the "guy" in the relationship. I want her and Zach to be best buds and watch hockey together.

I thought Jacob Young looks very hot lately. Being a widower definitely agrees with him.

First time today, I liked hearing a conversation between Frankie and Randi.

I am not sold on the casting of Natalia. With the right casting this storyline could be EXPLOSIVE, and Natalia is the weak link. Not necessarily BAD, but definitely BLAND. And as the daughter of the bombastic Jesse Hubbard, I expect more spark. I need to see levels and layers, and Natalia is just entirely one flat plane. Laura Bonarrigo (as I noticed she's back to in the closing credits) is PERFECT, but wish I didn't find out today that she had an inoperable brain tumor. Here's hoping for that miracle cure! Maybe Angie will encourage Jesse to marry her before she dies and then she'll miraculously get better... lol. I'm not serious, but that would be so very soapy.

Loved David's closing line "and there will be coffins for all of them..." And I love that he lives at that gothic Wildwind but does he really need that sprawling estate?! Can he afford it? I guess with the economy in the state it's in and the real estate market as well, maybe he got it for a steal? Why are these estates always pre-furnished?!

I have to agree that AMC was good today.

I really enjoyed Bianca and Reese. They make a fine couple so far. Today set up the complications that will be faced between Bianca, Reese, and Zach about baby Gabrielle. Zach is going to want to be a father to Gabrielle(he keeps harping on feeling bad that Kendall did not want to have a baby girl, etc.) So the conflict is there.

I also liked David and Krystal scenes. The Hubbard story is okay and count me in with those who are enjoying Laura Koffman back on a soap.

Emma was kidnapped and now Annie. Ryan is so convinced that the stalker is after him and getting to him through the people he loves, so the first and only person he wants to protect now is Greenlee? Um, what about Spike, his only son? WTH? I cant believe Spike isnt even on his radar. He's so focused on Greenlee and he proves that she's more important to him than his kids

Im not sure I can quite get into Reese and Bianca yet. Just not the feeling the chemistry there. I guess its mainly bc Im not buying TB playing a lesbian after watching her in roles chase after men

IDA. Im loving Natalia and think the casting on her is great. She is definetly MUCH better than what we got with Cassandara. I see Natalia as a little spitfire and she's holidng her own

    • Leslie is an extreme liar and manipulator. I'm not sure what her point was in trying to convince Nicole she wasn't trying to hurt her. As much as Eva did help orchestrate the entire plot I feel like there was too much piling on. Eva never said she wanted to be a Dupree so Anita was extremely out of line for that comment.

That's positive and something to look forward to for sure, because you're right, 1996 so far isn't nearly as good as 1995. Ohh - what is Lonatrat?  Sadly you're probably right. I did feel like David was rarely seen once Marcus came on. That would have been an interesting spin, having Frank and Tina be teenage lovers and Dahlia really being his daughter. I'm getting the sense that Tina won't be seen too much anymore, as she just left Dahlia with Frank/Eleni as she's heading to jail for a while. I like the Tina actress too!  Her voice sounds a bit like Rosie Perez to me, which I love. I tried to find her online, but coming up empty. This was the only thing I could find about Tina Crede - a character snapshot video with clips and stills of her (randomly starting just before the 1:00 mark):

That's wild that the David actor is nearly 40 here! Definitely surprises me.
    • 5-6   Meh. It already looks like a scattershot week.    5-5 was actually a good episode. Damian and Lily. Phyllis finally going on the warpath that I knew she could get on with Billy and Sally. Nate started to question Audra and Victor's alliance. And I was not even bugged by Kyle and Claire.   But then there's Cole's off-screen story. Kyle and Claire going back to being whiny. And them even wanting Adam's penthouse just sounded like trying to keep the set around. And Diane shouldn't even give a flying frak about Billy's opinion. And Tessa, Daniel, and the guitars...yeeeah no.   But hey...JM looked good in that short. And those pants.  I agree. One of Y&R's good points with fans has always been that you do at least see the vets. And IN stories.
    • One of the things that I found unnecessary and a bit disturbing about Ambitions was that in almost every episode someone was holding or shooting a gun.  Jamey and Ron seem to have the same fetish.
    • I had thought that there was a Tommy Biddles on there, but then I realized I was thinking of Dr. Biddles on Santa Barbara. Never mind!

    • I have watched the scene where Vanessa reads the letter and it's lovely, but I'm really glad now that I never got around to watching the funeral. Henry ADORED Nola! He treated her like a daughter and Stacy like a granddaughter. That's why Vanessa couldn't stand her. He was crazy about all the Reardons. He spent a lot of time at the boarding house. He and Bea--they never explicitly said it was romantic, but they certainly were loving friends. This sounds worse than Bert's funeral. I really did not think that was possible.
    • It always bothered me from the start that Nicole just took Mona's suggestion and never checked references.  A real psychiatrist would have done more before hiring someone. ** I like that Kat's reporter/investigative type instincts caused her to be suspicious of Eva from the start, and to try to spy on Eva and catch her as weeks went by. However, I think that Kat's so focused on what Eva did wrong -- that she won't see that Leslie is the master manipulator, making some things appear different than they actually are. I hope that Shanice's natural snoopy nature will get her to figure out what actually happened to Laura, and who really caused all the problems. *** edit to add: The show never specified what Mona's job was for Nicole.  Home manager?  Office manager?  Head personal assistant?  I'm sure there would have been a title?    Mona asserted today her upset with Eva and with Leslie.  That they used her and ruined her reputation.  I just wish I knew what Mona's job was. If Mona was an official manager, then it would have made sense for Nicole to trust the recommendation, if Nicole thought Mona had done a proper hiring procedure.  But if Mona is just an informal helper, then why wouldn't Nicole order a background check?
    • And I'm here for it.   Also...YES, PLEASE.
