just google some interviews with her, even from the time it happened. you will start to see theres a lot more to the story. there is also a 6 part interview with her at a fanfest on youtube where i think she briefly mentions it.

the whole story still isnt out, id love it to be. but pretty much it seems that Joss W didnt like CC for whatever reason and thats why he sent her over to Angel knowing he would mostly work on Buffy and then when he became more involved in angel they clashed, she got prego, she hated that they regressed her character development, they had it out, they wrote her into a coma for mat leave, and when they all came back for season 5 she was told she wasnt being picked up. she went back for the 100th epsidoe to tie her character arc up for the fans pretty much. shes also one of few BTVS people not to charge redic amounts of money for events and pictures and [!@#$%^&*]. Im not claiming she was a perfect person to employ or an innocent victim in anything, but she was fired for some reason that has never been stated and its hard to picture it being osmething knowing what all the other cast members were like...

Poor Charisma. The only time I enjoyed Angel was the first few seasons, when she had a big role and the actors played off each other well. After they shoved her to the side for their little pet Fred and they started doing so much other crap, I lost interest.

    • I'm good with the gushing, too. There aren't many soap icons like John Black, and that's important to celebrate and remember. And yes, life does go on for other characters, but as they say, timing is everything. Going sky diving the day before the funeral? And during a week of shows that were so powerful emotionally? No.
    • No. There might have been a slight pause for dramatic effect after his "death," but pretty soon after they showed him in France getting plastic surgery and getting involved with his doctor, then planning with her to bring Christina to France. (She thought he had good reason to do it; she wasn't a bad person or anything). Now that I think of it, there must have been some kind of pause before that, during the 70s, because when Rita was accused of killing a patient when she lived in Texas, part of the backstory was that Roger had been there, too. Not sure exactly when or how long that was.
    • Thank you. She’s disgusting.
    • I've already stated that I don't like Doug being written as this meek and submissive. It was so lame watching him leave her like that. Vanessa can divorce him, but she then needs to get her thot ass into therapy. She's not only having sex with every guy she runs into, but is now having  sex with a skeevy perv on a poker table. I'm going to give the BTG some credit here. For months, many on this board were delighting in the Vanessa/Joey flirting and what they saw as chemistry. I think we're now seeing what the writers always intended -- that Joey is a disgusting POS wannabe mobster.
    • John Black actually was the ultimate good guy soap hero. So I don’t mind the town gushing over him. It’s deserved.
    • Be glad it wasn't a Perry production.

    • The whole town gushing over John Black as if he was a saint is eye rolling.  I guess death really colors people's memories over his many flaws, but I guess that is normal and human nature. I'm still confused as to why Leo hasn't been written out.  The actor stank up two soaps with his sub par acting, what does he have on TPTB's to remain on these soaps.   What's the point of Cat?  I hope the new head-writers figure out her purpose and develop her character. And I much prefer scenes not focusing on John's death because life does go on for the world when someone passes.
