Margaret Cho on Palin: "She is evil."

"At first I thought Sarah Palin was some kind of Republican pandering – a misguided attempt to woo Hillary voters over to the dark side, as if they believed women voters were so stupid that they would vote for anyone in skirt, but now I see that she is much, much worse.

I have nothing against hockey moms – I just don’t want to be one. If Sarah Palin had her way, she would take away that right not to be a mom. She wants to outlaw abortion – so to call her a feminist is as laughable as calling evangelicals ‘Christians.’ They shouldn’t have the right to call themselves Christian, for they have no Christ-like attributes. I am a feminist and a Christian – and when I see Sarah Palin – I see neither. And it is official. She is evil. I saw on Violet Blue’s awesome blog that Sarah Palin forced rape victims to pay for their own forensic exams.

This is serious and bad."

Enough already!!! Everyone keeps attacking Palin. Hellloooooo, she's only the V.P. pick!! And if Democrats are so confident in winning, then why worry about it? If Obama wins, Palin will fall off the end of the earth (media-wise) and return to Alaska.

Everyone keeps attacking Palin and it irritates me because McCain is the potential President.....Not her!!!!! C'mon people!

Right on Margaret! Palin IS evil.

And let's face it, McCain is not a healthy man, he's past 70, has had melanoma and is quite frail due to his injuries in Vietnam...he could drop any second and guess who would be president: Palin. Disgusting.

Itd a very valuable argument because McCain could very well be the next President, and he is not exactly a healthy spring chicken. This woman is one heart beat away from the presidency. All the allegations surrounding her coming on in recent weeks are down right scary.

I really don't think that continuing to trash Sarah Palin is the best campaign tactic the Democrats should be using right now. (For instance, everytime the Democrats attack Palin for her inexperience, it also reminds voters about Obama's gross inexperience.) If Democrats want to be smart about this, they should solely concentrate on the economy and on attacking McCain.

Regardless of how you personally feel about her, nobody can objectively deny that McCain's selection of Palin has really energized the Republicans. Contrast this with Obama's choice of Biden, which has energized absolutely no one.

The absolute intensity that the Democrats exhibit when attacking Palin is proof they they are nervous about losing this election. The fact of the matter is that every single poll of a generic Democrat versus a generic Republic shows an easy victory for the generic Democrat. Yet, in the Obama versus McCain matchup, the polls show a statistical tie. No doubt, this is attributable to the fact that Obama is a very weak general election candidate, while McCain is a very strong one.

On the other hand, if Clinton were the nominee, she would be trouncing McCain in the polls right now. Unfortunately for the Democrats, they have a history of nominating weak general election candidates in presidential elections (with Bill Clinton, and perhaps Al Gore, being the exceptions).

You're so right Max...Hillary was THE answer. Joe Biden is just a botched pick, it's really that simple. Obama should have just swallowed his pride or nerves or WHATEVER it was that caused him to ditch Hillary and picked her. Sure, she's divisive and hated by a lot of people, she attracts attention and is popular with a score of women and men of varying socioeconomic backgrounds that Biden can't touch.
