I think it was Jean Randolph(may be wrong though) actually, and in 1995 during the huge alter story that Viki had where it was revealed Victor raped her.

Thanks! You know I'm always down for people being locked up in secret rooms. ;):D

Niki locked up Dorian in a secret room in the basement? What year was this?

It was part of the big 1995 storyline where Viki discovered that Victor Lord has abused her as a child, thanks to Dorian.

That was also the storyline where we first saw Viki's other 5 altars (besides Niki).....Jean Randolph, Tori, Tommy, Princess, and Victor Lord.

Yes, it was Jean that locked Dorian in the secret room.......I believe that she only agreed to let her out if she ended her fling with Joey and married David Vickers.

BTW, here is a rundown on Viki's 6 known altars:

Currently, all six of Viki's alternate personalities are integrated with her baseline psyche. In order of their first appearance on the series, they are:

Nicole "Niki" Smith - a devil-may-care, sexually promiscuous party girl, approximately the same age as Viki. Niki has appeared more times than all the other alters combined, and is very skilled at masquerading as Viki when necessary to hide her re-emergence. Niki had two serious relationships with Vinny Wolek and Harry O'Neill, neither of whom realized at the time that Niki was an alter of Viki.

Tommy - an angry teenage boy. Tommy is very protective of Viki, often violenty so.

Jean Randolph - a representation of Viki's mother, Eugenia Randolph Lord. Intent on maintaining order and balance in Viki's life, Jean once imprisoned Dorian in Llanfair's "secret room" to protect the secret of Viki's molestation. Jean has faulty vision and requires eyeglasses to see properly.

Princess - a manifestation of Viki as a seven year old girl. Princess is a traumatized child who is constantly reliving the molestation by Viki's father.

Tori - a cunning, young adult version of Viki. Tori is the most dangerous of the alters. She (seemingly) murdered Viki's father in the 1970s. Later in the 1990s, she set fire to Llanfair, unconcerned that Viki's daughter Jessica was trapped inside.

Victor Lord - a representation of Viki's father, the real Victor Lord. He is the one alter whose existence does not revolve around protecting Viki, and he actually tried to goad her into committing suicide.

Tess is going to build a secret room!! Another Jim Reilly connection. :D

JER is consulting at OLTL. I'm sure of it. Just wait Toups, the JER connections are far from over.

Um, OLTL's history of secret rooms and time travel all predate Reilly. And they've always done it better.

I am enjoying the Viki/Tina scenes mostly because I doubt very much that they will be their last; I think Tina will still be here when Viki gets back. I love the angle they're preparing to pursue with Tina at Llanfair, but I also wish they'd do more with how Tina did abandon her entire family and let her children run away. I assume Cord will come down on her about that.

I like 1968 but I'm ready for it to end, along with the other summer stories so we can go back to more grounded stuff.

I know Carlivati isn't actually thinking of Reilly when he's doing this stuff, he's thinking of OLTL's history. I'm just the one making the connection to Jim for my own sake. ;)

I agree with Vee....the secret room storyline was in 1995.........and the room itself was first discovered by Tina I believe in the '80s.

And OLTL did a time travel storyline in 1988.

That's one thing that I really like about RC is how he uses the history of OLTL.

If Carlavati is trying to model himself after Reilly I soon won't be watching

He's not.....he's just using things from OLTL's history. :)

Todd to Blair: You're flouncing around in my living room in someone else's night gown and I'm desperate."

"Keep the night gown.....you've already spoiled it."

LMFAOOOOOOOOOO :D :D

Keys should have thrown Blair out on her butt then Todd wouldn't had to fire him.
