I've been so busy watching the last episodes of Passions that I have neglected DAYS for the past two weeks! All the episodes have been piling up in my DVR but after reading such great things, I definitely will have to spend the entire weekend watching DAYS! I am so tempted to just skip to the middle of this week and just start watching from there :) I am glad that there is so much positive feedback though. I hope this upward trend continues and is reflected in the ratings. :D

I'm a day behind so just watched Thursday and it was an incredible episode..Easily the best episode since the plane crash/funeral stuff..This episode was such a treat to Bo/Hope and Days fans..The flashbacks were great, the right characters were involved and we even got mention of Shawn, Belle, Claire, Zack and Alice...And Addie in the episode before...Also it was nice having Doug and Caroline doing the ceremony..What was most touching for me was Hope getting a new ring..I'm glad that wasn't forgotten..

The Dimera mansion scenes were great, just for the fact that we are finally seeing Tony, EJ, and Lexie interact as siblings..And i loved the Marlena scene at the end..I was really scared for her..Days is on a roll, lets hope they can keep it up..

First off, Melanie rocks..we have a talented actress on our hands...And she's done the impossible, actually make me watch and enjoy Stephanie and Max scenes..The scenes today were awesome..Darrin and the actress that plays Melanie have great comedic chemistry and she had some fantastic lines..

In fact the whole show was great today from start to finish..So many great moments..John spying on the Bo reveal, then checking Bo off his list when Bo was taken into custody...Bo finally confessing to getting rid of the tape...getting to see Caroline and Kayla react to the news as they had speculated something was wrong..Kate and Victor already planning damage control..Phillip confessing to Morgan (was shocked that happened so soon), Stefano explaining his plans of revenge for Marlena to Tony and EJ, and Marlena lying unconscious on the floor..

Also that music they played during Marlena's scenes was so cryptic..I loved it..Whoever wrote this week has done a fantastic job..Days is back!!!

Friday was terrrrrible. Bo dumber than a box of rocks (even more than usual), and I started FF'ing Melanie/Max/Stephanie because the stupid just burns. The show hasn't been THAT insipid since Touch the Sky.

These past few episodes of DAYS this week have been really good to watch. I loved all the Bope stuff and the Marlena/Stefano scene. I don't care if it has been done over and over again, this familiarity is worth watching..

    • I'm not sure how I felt about it, but I do kind of like that it felt like the show telling us this concludes the first chapter of the series. Could be interesting if they only do it for big aftermath episodes. The biggest mistake with Martin is that it's almost hard to buy his anger because we've gotten no strong scenes with him and his parents. They've all been with Anita/Vernon. I can't even remember him ever even saying one word to Nicole, even in passing.
    •   Thank you! Agreed on both posts. And the comments about Mike Manning are nonsense.
    • I haven't watched yet, but did they explain the current ownership of The Bistro?  Because when RonC was writing, wasn't he applying for work with Sophia?
    • I think Brandon has gotten better in normal day to day scenes, but he’s very over the top when the character is meant to be angry or agitated. I did laugh when she started yelling at Leslie and then when he started to throw all those damn books, lol. He needs an acting coach to work out some of these kinks.
    • I've never found him as bad as some. I think he's always shined in scenes with Vernon, who should be his father. I also think he has great chemistry with Kat and Dani which I hope they tap into more over time. Dani/Martin feel like such a fun and believable Auntie/Nephew relationship.
    • I'm fighting for my life on another board for my husband Brandon and I'll do it here too lmao
    • I don't expect Lois to be the same person she was 25 years ago, but she's definitely lost a lot of what made Lois unique.  It's clear the show doesn't know how to write for her, and the sole purpose of Lois is to hide this Gio secret.  It's a shame she doesn't interact with more of the canvas.  It's a waste of Rena's talents. I like Brook Kerr most of the time.  She can be hit or miss.  I totally get what you are saying about her line readings too.  I honestly think the character really suffers being stuck in the Curtis pairing.  She's much better than Tanisha Harper's Jordan lol.
    • Friday and yesterday's episode is what daytime television should be. The other shows airing could take a page from yesterday's show.  I loved the rage, hurt and anger Nicole unleashed on Ted.  Daphnee should be up for an Emmy nom for these scenes.  It broke my heart to see how Dana had locked Eva out.  I do feel sorry for Eva.    I am still bumfuzzled as to why Leslie/Dana went to the DuPree's and asked them to accept Kat UNLESS Eva is really Kat's twin (and really Nicole and Ted's daughter that maybe they though they lost or an embryo Dana/Leslie stole??) I loved how Anita and Vernon both shot her down.    Ohhh and let me just say Friday and yesterday was the MOST fire I have seen Martin have since the show started.  Maybe Brandon Clayborn is coming into his own with the role finally.
