I don't know who they could pair Brad with. He's such an ass all the time. Diamont rarely adds anything new to the character. When he was younger, sexier and shirtless, I could get pass the smugness. Not so much anymore. He does need a relationship though.

She's an annoying kid actress as well. I can't stand her little acting quirks. She tries too damn hard, but I guess that's the thing with kid actors.

^^^You know, I think it's more so the stupid dialogue she gets. Y&R just doesn't get how to write organic kids. It reminds me of how insufferable Noah was during LML tenure.

As for tomorrow's show

looks like Victor pulled a Jack. He had his own personal service for Sabrina earlier this morning, so everyone gathering at the church was just one big waste of time. They show Victor by himself with the reverend through a series of short black and white flashbacks. Also, Adam puts the Newman brats on BLAST. But the little twerp also blames Nikki for Skye's death. Fortunately, Nikki is not at the service, and Paul comforts her at Vicky's place. Nicholas and Adam almost get into a fight today, and also in the previews for the next day. So, thankfully there really is no long drawn out funeral for Sabrina, just everyone showing up to sooner realize that they've been duped!

I didn't have a problem with Michael helping Victor last week while Victor was staying with Sabrina, but Michael having to plan a funeral for another man's wife and a woman he hardly knows is too much of Victor to expect. Victor may be in pain, but he needs to make this about his dead wife and not himself. And they need to let Michael be more than a glorified gopher for Victor and who ever hires him. At least he threw Adam's orders back in his face. Michael works for Victor and is doing much of this out of friendship. He doesn't need a junior Newman telling him what to do.

Now that the death and "funeral" will be over I think we should get back to the Newmans being on no more than three times a week. I know this story will continue which is fine, but frankly I am Newmaned out. I need a break from seeing them and all their anger and bitterness five days a week. It's been Newman nonstop this entire year. And they had plenty of story under LML also. They have eased back on too much Gloria, now they need to do the same for the Newmans. Even an overexposed favorite gets irritating if they are on my screen five days a week, month after month.

OK, I do notice the much darker lighting on the show, Y&R's always had dark lighting, but Latham added a more neutral dark shade to the show, and now I've noticed it's gone darker than that, much like how Y&R was lit years ago. Griffith must FINALLY be doing his job...

So, I'll be in London for the next two weeks, and I won't be able to catch the next two weeks worth of episodes (unless I find time for those torrents!), anyway I hope an upward momentum continues creatively for the show.
