I would say Dee Hall considering she's had aspirations behind the camera for a while now...wasn't one of the reasons she came back to DAYS because she was promised she could Executive Produce a spinoff that never materialised? I would say, considering they were veering towards John and Ava and now suddenly Ava is on her way out, that Dee is a definite possibility.

There's nothing "sudden" about Ava being on the way out. Tams only agreed to a short term gig, and said as much when she joined the show.

I am thinking it is one of the "younger" female actors.

I dont think it was ever specified, the length of Tamara's stay at DAYS. Why would DAYS go to the expense of giving her promo shots and keep her around when her initial storyline reached a climax, putting her in a pairing with one half of the show's most iconic supercouples, if they didn't plan on making her recurring gig more long term?

The exact length of her stay wasn't publicly released, but she did mention on her website that it was short term. I wouldn't be surprised if she returns down the road though, if there's still a show to come back to lol.

I second that, as someone who knows it very well. Sarnoff has no ethics whatsoever, and without him, the strike would have been a lot more difficult for the soaps to handle. He reps both the EPs and the writers... how is that not conflict of interest? Oh, right. It is. Not technically, but in a small pond like daytime... it's amoral. But then again... agents...

Ooh, treads are being deleted on the Y&R Sony board regarding this matter. People are getting PM's from the admin's saying that the show doesn't want this stuff posted and that these claims are not "substantiated." The Higley is out thread is still going strong over on the Sony DAYS board though.

I can totally see SN/MBE and NB being possibilities in this. Not so sure about Lauren Koslow. I know that the Kate/Daniel thing was a sudden shift, but that may have been due more to Lexie & Abe being given the autism storyline instead of Lexie having her usual affair.

Except that Steve and Kayla have NO storyline right now and they have not had one for at least 1 1/2 months - if they have had scenes, they have essentially been supporting Stephanie's storyline and now Bo's storyline. And they are pretty much absent for any spoilers in the next few weeks also. Yes, they got about one day of dialogue about the Ava situation last week but it certainly was not a "storyline." Ironically, enough, it was some of the best dialogue they had all year IMO. ANd whatever Dena's hand was or was not in it, she received a lot of thank you letters mailed to her and positive comments about it on her blog.

As for NB, well. frankly I can't see why she would think her present storyline is that great at all.
