I liked the OLTL anniversary episodes, even Rex and Bo going back in time.

A lot of Nick/Sharon fans "converted" when Nick hooked up with Phyllis.

And the rest of us were just darn glad their "era" was over. I hope Phyllis and Nick are together for a long time.

I found Melody Thomas Scott's acting to be WAY over the top during the "Out of the Ashes" fiasco.

I never cared for either Shick or Phick. I personally think Nick and Phyllis suck the life out of one another and I can't wait for them to be broken up and placed with other characters. It's probably an unpopular opinion in itself...

Most (GL) fans seem to love the "Hold On to Love" theme from the JFP/Curlee/Demorest/Reilly/Broderick era. I don't. It's not the most overrated soap main title theme; IMO, though, it's definitely in the top three. Even now, all these years later, I can hear it playing in my mind, and I'll think it's a little too "CBS Evening News" for a soap opera theme.

I think killing Cassie Newman--though I miss her everyday--was one of the best story decisions ever made, because it has produced years of good story.

I agree with this one. I remember in a Y&R group I post in, so many people at the time were screaming about how they could never forgive Smith and/or Alden for killing Cassie, with some saying they'd stop watching the show over it. A lot of people quoted Bill Bell's decision during his latter years as Y&R's HW not to kill children off and asked how Smith and Alden could do that knowing how their mentor felt. But I always argued that the proof of the power of Cassie's death was in the way it touched the entire show, and even Lynn Marie Latham's disastrous time running the who didn't mute that.

I remembering reading that Joshua Morrow thought the same thing. He hated seeing Camryn go but thought it was a brilliant storyline decision.

Most of the cast, especially those playing Newmans, hated to see her go. I remember it was a hot topic at that year's Y&R Fan Event, where they even put together a highlight reel showing the key points of that story, ending in Cassie's death. The crowd was definitely moved by the story, whether they agreed with the decision or not.

I think Y&R is the most boring soap I've watched. I'd watch Days over Y&R every time. Their lighting gives me a headache (their sets are so dark). Every character on that show annoys me. I used to read how great it was on this board a couple years back, so I tried to check it out; I was sorely disappointed. I couldn't for the live of me see what all the hype was about-- and I still don't.

AMC hasnt been the same since Megan was fired, I just get bored watching it.

GH: I wish all the Z's would die except Claudia. I like her now.

On AMC: I wanted Beth Ehlers to be Liza. If I couldn't have that, I want her paired with Tad. I don't want to see Taylor and Jake together. I really want to see Jake and Greenlee together.

OLTL: Brody makes my skin crawl. But not was bad as Todd.

I don't like Kate on GH anymore. Get her away from Sonny or get rid of her. She is more and more unlikable since she became Sonny's doormat.

I still have problems believing LW as Carly. I like Sam sometimes. JC's introduction on GH has been less than stellar.

I didn't mind the reliquary storyline on Y&R.
