I don't see why Heath is so protective of Danny. If I recall, Danny treated him as badly as he treated the others. Heath started the whole thing about getting him out of jail and for what?

The 8/20 episode is frustrating! I want Casey to just say that Danny ordered him to kill that innocent guy. Casey did the right thing.

Thanks for the clear up. It really is odd how the AUS soaps have completely new identities every 3 years or so. LoL

And I forget if it was you or Ben, but how can anyone like Indi? The actress has to be one of the worst in soap history.

As for the River Boys, I only truly like Casey. Heath is a jerkoff and looks dirty and I can never take Brax seriously because he remins me of a gorilla (face and all!) But Casey, I'm totally in love with. And am really enjoying the seemingly slow build up to Sasha / Casey and appreciated his scene with April.

Random question: Has Marilyn ever had a cougar storyline because the actress is gorgeous.

I just started watching Home & Away from the beginning, and just finished the first month.

I'd forgotten what Alf looked like with hair, and I didn't realise him and Ailsa weren't married at the beginning. I always thought they were for some reason. Roo was so nasty about Ailsa.

I also had forgotten Marilyn wasn't there in the beginning. I know she shows up soon enough though.

Home and Away 2013 is off to a fantastic start. I already really like the new brother / sister duo who've arrived. Spencer is the better of the two so far and tying them to Roo is genius.

I'm sad Morag couldn't stay behind with Celia, but what do H&A historians think of this new SL for her maybe being a gambling addict? The actress instantly won me over when she cried to Alfie that she couldn't leave because she had nowhere to go.

Now they really need to do what I've been saying for ahwile and give Marilyn a hot stud to f*ck. The implication that someone that is as hot as her would waste her time on John of all people was embarrassing.

And staying in tune for my hatred of children, Jett needs to die quickly. And with recent spoilers I'll hate the little punk even more.

Celia is the only saving grace of the show at the moment. I can't stand Maddie or Spencer, in particular Spencer. Their arrival is so cliche, it's something Home and Away has done too many times. The writing for Celia has been really good so far though, I hope she sticks around for a fair while.

    • Thanks for posting this, fascinating read. It's clear how ambivalent Wyndham is about Justine. IMO, it reads like she agrees that the end of the storyline was bad, but reading between the lines I think she thought she was doing good work for the meat of it....which was not the case. As bad as the writing for most of that story was, it was truly made worse by her embarrassing performance. After the story concluded she kept falling back into Justine ticks, when she wasn't phoning he scenes in. Not to play Freud, but was it to tr*ll her critics?

    • I love this more than any theory I've seen yet
    • I wonder what Dana and Hayley's first scene will be like. Dana has fear/contempt for Bill, but I can imagine Hayley being curious to meet her.
    • Daphne was just FANTASTIC today. I know people wanted histronics and it may still come but she was pitch perfect today. As much as I like Maurice she's gonna need someone just as strong now and it's just not him
    • Today's episode was one of my favorites so far! TT's Anita standing up to Dana was perfect. I was surprised with how restrained Dani was, in some scenes, I forgot she was there. The ending "Amazing Grace" montage was brilliant. I like how Vernon's reason complements Anita's emotion. DD was terrific portraying her mixed sense of betrayal and humiliation. I liked her comment about how she condescended to Dani after her breakup with Bill, unaware that she was also married to a cheater. I am going to miss MJ as Ted and I don't agree with the criticisms of his acting. His conduct on social media is a different story. I agree that BC's Martin has come into his own. He and MM have also discovered some chemistry which allows them portray a believable couple. Eva is the most empathetic character for me. Seeing get locked out of the apartment was heartbreaking. I also liked that the writing for Kat has been much more nuanced than one might have expected just weeks ago. I liked the expression on Kat's face at the end when she was embracing Nicole. Kat has probably never seen her calm, poised mother so upset. CM's face portrayed a sense of discomfort now that the carer/child roles have been somewhat reversed. I believe now more than ever that Kat is Ted and Dana's child. Eva is Ted and Nicole's child. Dana switched them as insurance - if Bill came after her to take or harm Eva, Dana would reveal that Eva was actually a Dupree, giving her some protection. She would also be secure in the fact that her birth daughter Kat was ensconced in the privilege and security of the Dupree family. The way Dana raised Eva - "weaponizing" her instead of nurturing her as a loving mother - also aligns with this theory.
    • @Paul Raven - thanks for reviewing the content for accuracy.  You know, the nice thing about AI is that you can teach it things, so I am having it review the classic AMC Tumblr to increase its accuracy.
