I've never considered "The Bill" a soap. It's more of a procedural drama.

Sure, I agree. But I've seen all too many times it being called a soap opera, from RTS to the Guild and so on.

More correctly, it's a serial, but this new producer that came now has re-introduced self-contained episodes so even that is a shaky classification.

You like Louise? Maybe an alcholism storyline will give her a real persoanlity.

Of course I like Louise - she's the hottest woman on the show! I've been making edits of her on youtube.

As Clare Devine told her last year, "The only friendship you've ever cultivated is with your make-up bag and a mirror. Anymore concealer and you would've wiped out what little bit of personality you've got left!"

Moving on to this week, which was really good. I'm glad that Russ now knows that he's the father of Tina's kid. Thursday, Friday, and next Monday's episodes are really solid.

Onto this past week's episodes....it was a week of revelations...Mercedes finally knows and she beat the heck out of Malachy (which he so deserved! As if he slept with her again!)...and Newt found out about Jack.

How cute was that Amy/Josh flashback to their "antlers kiss"!! When was that scene, like 3-4 years ago?

So Holly kind of takes after her mother, eh. Like the way she teased Tom about Nial being his new father (and a couple weeks ago when Tom had to go to pee really badly and she stole the bathroom away from Tom ).

If you think this was a week of revelations, wait until you see what's coming up in the next two weeks. One big story that's been building for a year finally climaxes with a HUGE event.

Poor Mercedes, she's finally ready to settle down in a committed relationship, and she's lied to and might be infected with HIV. I totally understood her smacking Malachy. It was soo Mercedes, she doesn't take s-hit from anyone. I do hope that she can work things out with Malachy though, I like them together, they're so alike.

I like how the McQueen's are always there for each other, even if they drive one another crazy. I like how Myra and Jacqui confronted Malachy, and Jacqui and Mercedes have always had their problems in the past. I really liked the scenes when Mercedes broke down with Jacqui, after she took the HIV test and started flirting with everyone.

Amy and Josh are meant to be, and they should've never broken up. There's so much history there, and their families HATE one another, even though Sarah (Amy's sister) and Hannah (Josh's sister) are best friends. When Sarah was dating Hannah and Josh's brother, Rhys, Rhys was having an affair with Sarah and Amy's mother, for those of you who want to know.

The next few weeks are going to be explosive!
