Who are some characters that have been twins?

Often it's a plot twist used to bring back a popular actor,but ther have been twins born on screen or written in played by different actors.

Let's start a list of twins past and present...with any comments on the characters and their stories.

AMC

Kitty and Kelly AMC-Kelly came about when Francesca James returned. Linc Tyler married both sisters.

DOOL

Sami and Eric Brady.Sami has always been the focus of this duo.Eric should definitely return to Salem.

Samantha and Marlena Evans.Came about when the writers discovered Deidre Hall had a twin.

When the original story played (Samantha stashing Marlena in the nuthouse and took her place)did the sisters look sufficiently alike that people could be fooled,or were we expected to suspend belief?

AW

Vicky and Marley Love.Eventually became non identical to facilitate the return of Ellen Wheeler.

Mike and Marianne Randolph.Might set the record for fastest SORASING.Born in 1970-were in late teens by 75.

B&B has Phoebe and Steffy. And weren't Frankie and Maggie twins on AMC?

Oh and OLTL has Natalie and Jessica.

They looked identical, or close enough that no suspension of disbelief was necessary, lol. Here's the video of some of it - be sure to watch the part starting at 4:06... they look VERY similar in that clip.

A lot of people mistakingly thiink that Natalie and Janet were twins on AMC, but they were just sisters; they only looked the same after Janet did her makeover. Nat was supposed to be like 2 years older than Janet, I believe.

Cindy Parker played by Ellen Wheeler.She died of AIDS after marrying Stuart.Then she returned as her sister Karen.What was Karen's story?

Joanna Johnson was killed off as Caroline.She returned as Karen,but she never really got involved with Ridge and the character fizzled out.

Blade(one of Ashley's many boring husbands) had an evil twin brother Rick.I think that it was one of Bill Bell's worst stories.

In the 80's April Stevens discovered she had a twin sister Barbara who had been given away because the family couldn't support 2 kids.She found Barbara but then nothing much happened and Barbara was dropped.

Amber had a twin sister on B&B. April Knight. I think she lasted a month or so.

Rush and Johny Carrera on B&B.

Adam and Stuart Chandler on AMC of course...

BTW I hate what B&B is doing with the Forrester twins. This is waay too lazy. We knew that they were identical and they could have written a story about a car accident and plastic surgery to explain this. Steffy would no longer look the same and she would blame Phoebe for the accident. Then she would go after her sister's boyfriend.

What is next on soaps?

Hope Logan returns as a teenager and she is a boy? R.J. Forrester is African American?

Me too. When I heard they were going to recast the other Forrestor daughter, I thought that Phoebe was going to get in some type of accident as a result of catching Rick with Taylor, and that would cause her to be disfigured and played by a new actress with MM becoming Steffy. But then they went in a different direction and they've ignored the shows history

John O'Hurley (erstwhile of Seinfeld, now of Family Feud) briefly played twins on LOVING. Not that I remember much of it, except that his hair hadn't turned white yet, I think. EricMontreal would probably know.

Didn't Cat Hickland play twins on Capital (ol sp?)?

If we're getting into dopplegangers, so many more to add. (Bo Buchanan had one, Rachel and Justine on AW, Todd's new face and Walker/Flynn Laurence, Reva's clone, Kay Chancellor and Marge, etc.)

And what of Kristen on Days? Wasn't the British one her actual twin?

I believe Mike and Marianne on 70's Another World were supposed to be fraternal twins.
