I have to say, this is about the only thing I don't agree with the majority of this board on.

Sure, he does a lot of push-ups, but the guy's got ZERO charm. He quickly lost his appeal to me. Now he's just another gym rat.

But I know I'm in the minority on this one. I'll happily sit alone. :)

I'll join if you want some company. I've never seen the appeal of him and I still don't, and believe me I have tried.

But a mother saying her teenage daughter was "making love" is a major screw up. I can't believe the script editor didn't catch that. As brimike said, it wasn't realistic and didn't fit with the overall story.

Actually, that's one of those moments that reeks of being the editor who changed it.

Probably one of those stupid "you've filled your quota on how many times you can say 'sex' this month" Standards and Practices moments.

Or yeah - lousy editing could be the cause too.

What could have Blair said to Starr? "Honey, you f'ed up..."?

Actually? That would be kind of awesome. Takes the conversation into a whole other direction.

How do I say this without spoiling anything for anyone?

(...thinks for a moment...)

Nope, can't, lol.

Let's just say...I don't think that Mitch will turn out to be Rex's biological father...and that RC is actually foreshadowing who is his father...but to understand what I mean requires taking a look at another, "forbidden" thread on this board, and I'm not going to advise anyone to do so under penalty of Toups.

(Hope I haven't said too much?)

Oh man, now I am COMPLETELY intrigued.

It's the conversation I've been waiting for ever since Blair found out.

Yes, as a mother, when your child is in the hospital, after her father threw her down the stairs, you want to comfort her. All you care about is her safety and her baby's safety. Nothing else matters.

But then a few weeks pass. And Blair has to be struggling with this. Dealing with questions. Dealing with her own anger at the situation.

If not with Starr, she should have those scenes with SOMEBODY. I'm missing BLair's POV in all of this.

I swear i mentioned this the other day. I'm finding it hard to believe that she just "accepts" her 16 year old daughter is pregnant.

Maybe she'll have them with John. I just want to see Blair's facade crack, and she admits that there's a part of her that hates Starr for being so stupid and potentially ruining her life. ANd then she hates herself even more for thinking that way about her only daughter. Kassie would rock those scenes, and then I'd be able to buy the "happy acceptance" act when they're all home together.

Here's my rationale:

Under "normal" circumstances, Blair probably would take Starr to task for making such a terrible mistake with Cole. But when your estranged husband's breaking down doors and beating up teenagers (when he isn't busy pushing them down flights of stairs, or leaving them hanging, literally), and it's all you can do to threaten him with restraining orders and custody battles, you're not exactly in the right frame of mind to have that heart-to-heart talk with your knocked-up teenaged daughter like you should.

Either that, or Blair's hiding something.

Your conspiracy theories are gonna make me crazy, lol. What could Blair be hiding? That she is carrying Todd's evil spawn?

HAH!!!

No, more like, Blair got pregnant when she was a teenager, so she doesn't feel right about "lecturing" Starr for making the same mistake she did at that age.

Ahhh....wise teacher make a good speculation.

Now that I think about it, maybe the convo between Blair and Addie was more than just about Blair's dad, but finding out how Addie felt when she was pregnant, so Blair can relate it to her experience and what Starr is going through now.

OMG Khan! My mind's working overtime now.

I thought their chemistry was quite inappropriate, lol. At any moment I expected Cole to just jump Marty's bones.
