May 27, 200817 yr Member I wanted to share with you all an interview I had with TC Warner (ex-Kelsey Jefferson) about her time with AMC. Check it out here: http://amchistory.powweb.com/ I have a few more interviews coming up Edited May 27, 200817 yr by AMCHistory
May 27, 200817 yr Member Great interview, I actually liked Kelsey. Who else will you be interviewing next?
May 28, 200817 yr Member She looks amazing. Kelsey grated on me sometimes but I liked her, and I'd love to have the character back. Like so many of the 90s ingenues, she was a cut above the current anointed ones. Edited May 28, 200817 yr by Vee
May 28, 200817 yr Member Oh I hated Kelsy. Always did. I hope she stays far far away. Good interview though. TC still looks as adorable as ever
May 28, 200817 yr Member I really liked TC Warner and Kelsey....she was part of a very good teen scene (probably the best teen scene I ever saw: Scott/Anita/Bobby/Kelsey)
May 28, 200817 yr Member AMCHistory that's a GREAT interview and I hate to nitpick but in it you say: "Her coming on to the canvas as the youngest Martin coincided with the eldest, Mary Fickett's (Ruth Martin), decision to leave Pine Valley for good. In a controversial move, a much younger Lee Meriweather, a former Ms. America, took on the contract role for the next two years." Umm Mary Fickett was born in 1932. Lee Meriweather was born in 1935... How is that MUCH younger? (I just realized Joe/Ray MacDonell is 80 years old! wow!) Edited May 28, 200817 yr by EricMontreal22
May 28, 200817 yr Member Yeah but Lee looks very young compared to Ms. Fickett IMO. And yeah Scott/Anita/Bobby/Kelsey teen scene was awsome. Whenever I was home from school or during the summer I would always watch them. I loved Bobby and Anita. But I still liked Kelsey, even though she kept trying to break them up LOL. I didn't really care for Scott, he was always just there. I just always found him boring, even with the recasts.
May 28, 200817 yr Member I think the time I got interested in Scott was when Daniel Cosgrove played the role. The one before him I could take or leave and I did not like Forbes March's Scott
May 28, 200817 yr Member I think the time I got interested in Scott was when Daniel Cosgrove played the role. The one before him I could take or leave and I did not like Forbes March's Scott The first Scott was really annoying, I remember he used whine alot in a child like voice and I'd just have and run for the mute button. Cosgrove was alright, not as whiny and a much better actor but still boring IMO. Then March came and I had had just about enough of the character.
May 28, 200817 yr Member *sigh* Great interview that brings me back to my absolute favourite time period of AMC in my viewing. It was the perfect blend of the new generation and old. Such a blended, multi-generational canvas. I am glad to see TC is doing well
