    That really sucks for Julia. If they had reunited Tad and Kathy earlier, they could have had an adjustment period with Julia coming to terms that Kathy was Kate and belonged with Tad and then had her move to California to be with Maria, Mateo and the rest of her family.

    This could have been a great story with a custody battle, but instead they choose the easy way. I feel so bad for Sydney Penny having to go through this. :(

    This is another mark of a dying show.

    GL killed Maureen, and many people mark that as the moment at which a terminal diagnosis for the show could be made...that they so misunderstood their viewers.

    More dramatically, AW killed Frankie in a similarly brutal way. And that really DID mark the final death rattle for that soap. (They brought back a lookalike eventually...but 'too little too late").

    You know what is the LEAST they could have done? Since Noah is apparently dead, they could have paid Keith Hamilton Cobb a fortune for ONE DAY, and let ghost Noah lead ghost Julia into the light.

    What is more ironic is this: They are doing all this nonsense to give closure to Tad and Dixie. So they realize these brutal ends alienate viewers.

    BUT IN THE SAME WEEK, they do ANOTHER brutal end for Julia? Who was half of one of their big 90s supercouples??????

    Today is a day where NOTHING is making sense to me.

    Have they learned NOTHING from the mistakes of the past?!?!?!
