I just read Prevuse for tomorrow. Someone please tell me that Sami is being drugged.

I didn't have high hopes that Higley would be able to pull off this long awaited for discussion but the LAME dialog about what happened that night has me cringing. WTF? Just reading it made me vomit in my mouth. If I had any doubts that whitewash was going to be heavily applied my fears have been put to rest. I feel like a fool just reading this garbage. After waiting for EJ and Sami to have this honest discussion I can honestly say that I think it would be better if they never talked about it again.

I was wrong! Wrong! Not handling it at all was better than handling it this poorly.

Jack never referred to his raping Kayla as 'making love' or claimed that he thought she wanted it. He confessed to the crime in front of a packed courtroom. EJ cannot even say the word! This is a whitewash, not a redemption.

And I say GOOD. Selfish Sami is the one I know and love. Really that's the only Sami that's actually compatible with EJ. Grown up Sami, whatever that means (do you mean CONSTANTLY CRYING Sami?), was a total bore. But that said... I don't see how this is THAT MUCH of a regression for Sami. After all, Sami was making out with EJ last April as part of her seduction scheme to try to kill him and at that point it was even worse as she was making out with EJ behind Lucas's back (never telling him how she lured EJ to that cabin EVER) and this was all while she was engaged to Lucas. At this point, she's apparently only sleeping with EJ, her husband, after fighting her feelings for months trying to stay faithful to Lucas while married to EJ but only giving into them after Lucas has made it clear he wants nothing to do with her. What else is she supposed to do at that point but move on? Then again, I think Lucas shooting EJ was pretty selfish on his part, so in addition to just not liking the character much I obviously have a lot less sympathy for him than others might.

Speaking of Lucas... that's really where the character growth/change happened in the Sami-Lucas relationship under Hogan so I'm curious to see what Dena does with Lucas when he cames back. Looking back on things... was is it a mistake for Lucas to take back Sami after the truth came out after their wedding or what? I hope Dena doesn't write Lucas the ineffectual doormat for Sami that Hogan did.

Him getting his drinking problem back would be outstanding.

Didn't know that holding a gun on someone is one of the requirements for making love.

I'll have to try that next time..........if I don't end up in jail first for rape.

Well, I quite love that as I feel like it evens things out from when Lucas bought Kate's set-up of Sami and Brandon when they were drugged and put in bed together to ruin their first wedding so I guess what I meant was I don't want him to take Sami back or agree to be around her by not being a doormat. Let him get a job or a new friend or something.

eta: OK I saw the scene in question and even though I like Ejami I was wary based on the dialogue I saw from Prevuze and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was actually sort of good. I mean you all will still HATE it... but I am glad they did it and put that behind them.
