My guess: ridge kills storm through protecting ashley. this drives ridge and ashley together, and further wedges brooke and ridge apart.) Brooke chooses the baby over Ridge! (great choice for brooke!) Katie denies any involvement with Nick! (nick is rejected by brooke and then katie!) Taylor is found to be a fit parent! (now this is completely HILARIOUS! taywhore has slept through the forrester, logan and marone clans! she's murdered darla and used her teen daughter as an accomplice. and she's consistently broken the hypocratic oath! this woman is not even capable of raising a pet cat or a plant!) The latest custody hearing is chock full of surprises! (my guess: taywhore is awarded custody of jack because she is engaged to rick! gross! rick will be the stepdad of his half-brother!) ITA slyph! the show needs a new headwriter! this soap is in dire need of a makeover! what makes it all the more frustrating is that all the elements for a good soap are there, but brad bell doesn't know how to write them! kay alden should take over full time, and brad bell should be exec producer only. he is running outta ideas and his writing is abysmal. william devry could be written out, ronn moss still rules the screen time for males, heather tom's potential isn't being fully utilized, there's no racial diversity and there are still no storylines for lesli kay, harmon and even la flannery! brad bell should either retire our take a long sabbatical. And its a shame that B&B has chosen to get rid of promising characters like Storm and Pam or ignore them completely (Thorne, Felicia, etc) in favor of a small coterie who have long been played out. I was thrilled when Jack Wagner first joined B&B. Now, though, I cannot bear seeing Nick's smug face on my screen. The possibility of Ridge getting away with murder... (again) and coming out on top... again!... is one storyline I DON'T need to see... again. As for Storm, I'm pissed that an original character from 1987 (played by a pretty compelling actor) is going to be killed off. In order to make Ridge look the hero! It's not like B&B is crawling with eligible males at the moment. They really missed a trick not seeing how Lesli Kay and William deVry sparked. Basically I am sad that character and plot are treated so flippantly. We cannot invest in anything because two weeks down the line a bait-and-switch is going to result in another round of musical beds or random plot twist. I just don't care for any of them any more, they have been so thoroughly bleached, I just don't recognise anyone any more. Brooke is a faint shadow of her former self, I never liked Ridge, I saw so much potential in Taylor and never liked her as a tortured soul (whereas bellcurve adored her like that ), Stephanie is such a sadist, I don't know in which circle of Dante's Inferno should I place her, Eric is... Shallow. Donna does nothing for me. Katie is a nice addition, but one that cannot miraculously wash away all the harm done to this show over several past years. I adore Bridget Forrester, but she'll be ruined in no time, which makes this show even more painful to watch. And this crazy story with insane Pam is just a drop too much in a glass already filled. Members bakedghoti Posted April 8, 2008 Author Members Share Posted April 8, 2008 i know operagirl! there are too many women on b&b and not enough men! and now the show is rumored to kill off its second viable non-forrester male, storm! how dumb can they get?! why put jackie, bridget and phoebe on the show? they are useless. phoebe should be killed off. bridget and jackie should just leave the canvas. this would give room for more male characters on the soap. Do you feel better when you do this? And can't you see for yourself how silly it looks? Sure, you can dislike a character like everyone else. But name calling is just... I find it childish and no, I don't think it's funny. Don't get me wrong I'm not a Taylor fan these days, but I don't hate her either. So she's kind of neutral for me. I simply don't see why it's fun to write taywhore instead of Taylor. But maybe that's just me. Perhaps a 14 year old would find it amussing. I just assumed you were an adult. No? No? you think it's beneath you to use words like "whore" to describe a character that is fictional, yet it's ok for you to make sarcastic personal attacks? also, why single me out when other members here have used the same words by calling brooke a whore, yet you don't complain then. Don't make this into something it's not. At first I assumed you were an adult, then I wasn't so sure so I simply asked. I don't get why you get all worked up about this. If you are a teenager then I would understand your language better. Simple as that. I've seen comments like this from you before and it wasn't just me who payed attention to your vocabulary then . I'm not singling you out. It's a very rare thing for me to read the B&B-threads (perhaps two-three times/month) so I havn't seen anyone else b!tching about Brooke or any other character. So you see, it's kind of hard for me to comment on something I havn't read anything about. And I think you're getting me wrong (just like I expected, but that's ok). It's not about you hating on Taylor. I and everyone else have characters that we dislikes as well (or what seems to be hate in your case). It's not about that, it's about how you write. Why is it satisfiing to write taywhore? I was a member of a Stephanie/Taylor board a couple of years ago (mainly to get clips and stuff). But almost everyone were writing just like you do in every single sentence every freakin' time they mentioned Brooke (yes every time). Most of them were adults, and even though Brooke is probabaly the only soap character I just can't stand, I left pretty soon because I found it hard to even read through the threads let alone one post. So since I've seen this on other boards I'm curious on why it's so much fun to construct a word/name like that. I just don't get it. Ohh well.
