Revealing Interview With Y&R Actor in SOW About Latham

I remember hearing that, during the 1996 Daytime Emmys, MS refused to sign autographs for people who booed Erika Slezak when she won for Outstanding Lead Actress. Good for her! They don't deserve autographs for booing a legend in daytime drama, who so happens to be a terrific actress at her craft.

The boos obviously came from a loss for Susan Lucci....as a Lucci fan, though, I would probably have been embarrassed to be a fan of hers if I was at the ceremony that night.

How, exactly, does that work? She took a poll? "Did you 'boo' Erika Slezak?! NO AUTOGRAPH FOR YOU!"

Anyway, this

Anyway, as for the topic, this interview could've been with anybody. I think the focus of this piece was what the actor was saying -- not who was saying it.

Well, it finally happened on today's Y&R! Katherine picked up a newspaper and the headline read, "Crime Rate Lowest in 35 years." They're trying too hard to break the show out LML's shell.

I laughed out loud when I saw that.

I've changed my mind on who blasted LML. My money is now on Jeanne Cooper.

She just found out somehow that they booed her....and no I did not boo Erika because I have never been to a Daytime Emmys ceremony if I was there, I would not have booed her). The one factor for me not going is that it was on the opposite coast (I am a California native while it was held each year, until 2005, in New York City). Now that it seems to be in California, I have a better chance of going but odds are I just won't do it. I like watching it at home

LOL it seems that they are already adjusting quite quickly to Y&R life post LML

Indeed she is. She's also one of very few that can do it & be classy about it.

Agreed 100%....I've always found her to be classy, outspoken, and have a wicked sense of humor

She's very much like Flannery & Liz Hubbard that way.

Darlene was a hoot....it is sad that pathetic creeps like O.J. Simpson are still walking the streets but yet she is gone from us.
