It is a crazy how much Sarah Brown (with dark hair) and Tamara Braun look alike. If ever "Claudia" stays on the show for longer than 12 months, Guza could write in a long-lost twin (who didn't inherit the chesticals), name her "Angela" and hire Tamara to play her. Then we'd have three popular Carlys on the show!

Tams is sooo much better in the role than the much overhyper sarah. I would take her back in a heartbeat. She put a heart and soul into the char like SB never could.

Tamara actually was the only Carly to me that was able to infuse a type of romanticism and class into the role of Carly. She was believeable as the mother, wife and was able to deliever the heartfelt scenes with realism and depth. She was the only Calry that oozed sophistication and imo the only female on the show except Robin Christopher that could play self destructive, sophisticated, smart and make it look mature and sexy without looking desperate.

Sure Carly's antics were annoying and tedious but Tamara was able to scale them down and make them semi-reasonable and sell it without it looking cartoonish and over the top the way both JB and LW seem to make Carly. LW alone makes Carly into a blubbering joke. Atleast JB held the excuse for being written like a maniac. LW just turned Carly into a classless beast of a woman.

I cannot choose between Tamara Braun and Sarah Brown, though -- and I don't particularly want to! They looked very much alike but their approach to the role of Carly was so different. I did like Tam's swoony "romantic heroine" aspect to her acting. I will say that TB was hampered with some atrocious writing for the character of Carly. SB got the Patrick Mulcahey touch in her first few years on GH, lucky thing.
