Members Noel
I wish you all the best of luck. I've called the Guiding Light studios venting my dismay with the show, and the people that answer the phone actually sound as if they're tired of answering the phone calls. Good luck. It's weird how a firing like this can be completely different from the "firing" of Drake Hogestyn on DAYS. These guys at SONY somewhat listen!! P&G? I think not! Members sema608
I feel the same way. I want ATWT to fall so hard that they are the last in ratings. I'm sick of them mistreating their actors and pissing all over the fans. A lot of fans are already dropping ATWT upon learning this news. I can't even blame JP anymore. Goutman can veto the decision. I think it's time for him to go as well. I'm sick of their stupid decisions.
Members Soapsuds
This is Goutman's decision alone. Jean is not even writing ATWT anymore. She is on strike. He is to blame for this betrayal.
Members stenbeck212
I'm not saying I want the show in more turmoil, because I watched the show when neither Scott Bryce or even Craig were around. Goutman has worn out his welcome, obviously. But when something is WORKING, you don't F it up! Bryce was the only man over 50 with the support to drive a story on this show. What is daytime's SICK obsession with luring actors we love back to their shows and kicking them to the curb in less than a year? We make commitments to these shows for decades, and they can't even make good on a 3 year contract!
Members Tishy
Thanks guys for the numbers. I keep calling and saying if they value our opinions so much, why did they fire Scott Bryce. This is INSANE I still think it has to be a bad dream

Members Sweet_VeeVee24
The writing was on the wall the minute they had Craig plotting to get rid of an unborn child; They get Scott Bryce back just to box him into a corner...indeed a waste... What gets me is how they bring on all these newbies and give them so much airtime but box long history characters into a corner to where there is no choice but to write them out of the show. What are they going to do, kill Craig off too?
Members Soapsuds
I agree with your post. It's a slap in the face of long time viewers. We were promised or should I say he was promised too.......to work with Elizabeth Hubbard a lot. What happened to that?? Once WW was taken away. Lucinda and Craig had little to no scenes together. Shame on Chris Goutman. The man should lose his job. I have lost my patience with him. He is a hack EP. Why not can Sofie. She is so boring to watch. I ff her scenes today with Gwen. Why didnt she leave town? I cant stand Sofie. Btw...Bryce is 47 years old. He is still under 50. This is what I am afraid of.
Members Y&RWorldTurner
Next year will make a decade since Goutman invaded ATWT.... I think this is probably the longest EP tenure in ATWT's history, if not, it's up there. The man has obviously burnt out and needs to move on. I'm sure he'd get a job at one of the ABC soaps. P&G and CBS, it's time to hire a NEW EP.
Members Tishy
I am just so dismayed. Why? Seriously why. Why did they put him in a ludicrious plot. Scott and Elizabeth Hubbard together are amazing, why couldn't we see them together? This just sucks
Members sema608
ITA. This is Goutman's doing. He's lost it. I can't understand why they would write out Ro and Craig when the problem lies in Paul and Meg. Who the heck wants to see Sophie? You might as well bring back Celia. UGH. I just wonder who's next. Trent? Terri?
Members sema608
I guess the good thing about it is they didn't text him or leave a voicemail. What a bunch of [*&^%%*#@@] idiots!
Members stenbeck212
He turned 50 on January 6.
Members Soapsuds
Oh ok..maybe I read 49 but I am positive it was 47...LOL. Anyways I hope everyone calls ATWT. The numbers are in the previous pages. This a huge mistake on ATWT's part to fire Bryce.
Members sungrey
If that is the case, that will be two characters with long histories off the canvas. I'm extremely disappointed in ATWT if they go that route. Cavalierly throwing longtime characters away like that comes back to bite you in the ass every time, no matter what show it is.
