She basically hits everything spot on. I love her.

However, despite ABC's questionable PR moves concerning this whole affair, I am still in my own head counting down the days until Becky comes back. Marlena is right though she ain't no Susan Lucci.

Me either, but Marcil's brief return brought a million viewers back to GH and they left when she left. Rebecca's return WILL NOT have that kind of results, nor is she really that popular IMO. Fans were sick of Greenlee when Rebecca first left and Sabine's run hasn't done the character any favors.

Yeah all they really had to do was announce Rebecca was coming back to the role..... and not promote it as the second coming.

Just like any other recast.

Then focus their major PR campaign on Jesse and Angie.

Yeah true, but she's at least ratings gold LOL

This made me really laugh:

Budig? A peppy performer and I’m sure a nice girl, too, but hey folks, far from the top tier of all-time soap opera performers. In all my decades of watching soaps, I’d rank her somewhere around 235 out of about 4,000 actors and actresses I’ve seen

I thought Sabine was terrible, but this is pretty insulting. Instead of the Real!Greenlee campaign, why not promote all three big returns? Debbi Morgan is more well known and could get some lasped viewers who see a promo during primetime. I bet when they head to The View it'll be Debbi and Darnell getting all the attention.

The disasterous PR campaign has basically shifted the focus onto Rebecca Budig being touted as the second coming and taking away from the cold hard fact that Sabine was one of the worst mis casts in soap history.

I mean.... this should have been great news and the PR blunder has basically divided fans. Smart move Frons, very smart move.

Yep, from what I'm reading even people who love her are sick of seeing her already. Way to go IIC make people sick of her before she even airs

Oh believe me, once RB's back, she'll be on even more than Sabine is. I don't think I want that since I think AMC may be better if the show was more balanced and gave equal story time to everyone.

How is that possible, Sabine has been practically shoved down our throats daily since May too.

I am just disappointed in the way ABC is handling this.

They should have done "The Original Greenlee" because its a way to let people know RB coming back and not really insulting SS
