You are one of the best people on this board. You know good and well we could have a discussion that would last until the dawn.

Thanks, Roman. Yeah, I'm sure we would have some good talks. :)

Roman, I only complain when someone singles me out personally, thereby diverging from issues.. Thanks for continuing to do so.

This is a potential issue! It may be true and it may not...

This is not a potential issue. It's bullshit.

It's a very far-right message board. They've been pushing the birth certificate story with absolutely nothing real to substantiate it.

Point proven.

It may well be...

Point proven.

I might agree if freerepublic.com were the only entity that acknowledged the lawsuit filed against Obama.

They have been pushing the lawsuit against Obama story. I believe this substatiates the birth certificate aspect..JMO though. The lawsuit brought on by a former Democratic Chairman from PA.

They are not the only media organization to mention the lawsuit...

Here's a poll out this morning saying Obama is still having problems convincing HRC voters to go with him

Obama struggling to win Clinton voters

A couple of other things. I don't understand someone criticizing what we are discussing in this thread (same sex marriage, abortion, etc). If you don't like the discussion topic, either change it or leave. It doesn't seem to me that any one topic has dominated this thread (well, maybe the tax issue) and most people here will discuss whatever someone brings up. So stop with the criticism already. Ugh.

Lastly, on GoldenDogs OT question, I wouldn't mind a group of us - Roman, Jess, Wales, Casey, GoldenDogs and myself hanging out and drinking a beer together talking about the election. That would be very interesting.

I'd be up for that! It would be crazy... but it would be fun!

Would love to meet you, Greg!

I really don't even know why I'm allowing myself to get sucked into this nonsense. Is there a credible news source writing about this story? NOT one affiliated with all things Republican?

This is just another example of debauchery by the far right to do whatever they can to win an election. Just as they drug your candidate through the mud 8 years ago in order to install GWB as the president.

It would be great to meet you too, GoldenDogs. And Roman. And can't forget Casey. Can you imagine the four of us sitting down somewhere debating the issues? It'd be wild.

I think I'd need a shot of tequila or two, that's for sure.

Roman....I am at a loss for words on the last link you posted. Loaning to minorities and "risky people"? WTF?

You know, there are just as many white people that took out loans on 500K homes that are now in foreclosure! Again, I say WTF?!? It just makes me very sad sometimes what swill comes outta these people's mouths.

There's no doubt that Biden is a liability for Obama at this point IMO. And frankly, I'm surprised that the McCain campaign hasn't zeroed in on some of his mis-statements, particularly what he said about taxation. Or have they? I seem to remember that someone said there was an ad out already about that, but I could be wrong.

As far as the argument that JB has too big a mouth to be president. Ummm. No. We already have someone like that occupying the White House. The [!@#$%^&*] that comes outta GWB's mouth is way worse off than what JB has said.

I dunno, Greg... And now it's time for...

THE BIDEN BITE OF THE DAY

"No coal plants in America."

http://hotair.com/archives/2008/09/23/vide...bamas-position/

However, the Obama platform states:

Obama’s Department of Energy will enter into public private partnerships to develop five “first-of-a-kind” commercial scale coal-fired plants with clean carbon capture and sequestration technology.

-------------------------------

Yikes. It would see Joe Biden is attempting to lose Pennsylvania for Obama...

I'm wondering....did anyone get a DVD in the mail yesterday from "The Clarion Fund"? I tried to scan in the image but couldn't paste it on this post.

It's entitled "Obsession - Radical Islam's war against the West". The inside cover states:

The threat of Radical Islam is the most important issue facing us today. But it's a topic that neither the presidential candidates, nor the media are discussing openly. It's our responsibility to ensure we can all make an informed vote in November.

I haven't sat down to watch it, and doubt I will. From everything I've read on the inside cover, it doesn't appear to endorse one candidate or the other....

What?!?! Will someone please, please, please take Joe out behind the wood shed and school his ass on the campaign's platform? Ugh.

What is going on with this? Has the mainstream press picked up the story?

I happened to catch this when it aired live... Cavuto was talking about the lax regulations from the Clinton era (we've discussed it here) and he made a mistake any of us would when discussing the policy -- loosening regulations were aimed at increasing ownership among minorities and the poor. After he said it, referring to the context of the basic policy, he realized what he said didn't sound right and qualified it, stating that he didn't mean minorities as a whole were risky people to loan money to.

Anyway... I saw it live and know what he meant and accepted his immediate correction. The left-wing press will go nuts over it, though.

Lets do it! The first round is on me...

I found another article on Philip Berg's lawsuit...this one has his email address at the end...We should email him, and say WTF is going on?!

[email protected]!

Obama Sued in Philadelphia Federal Court on Grounds he is Constitutionally Ineligible for the Presidency

The mainstream media has not covered the issue. There is barely mention of the lawsuit by America's main news sources. The text of the Press Release is contained in Annex. Links to the main legal documents are also provided

The point is FreeRepublic is not a media organization, it's simply an internet forum and they have a political agenda and so far, anything to do with Obama's birth certificate has been cleared up and there is credible concern about it.

Here's another article...it's hard to find a MSM source...

Phoenixville News

Though Berg admits there are no sworn affidavits, he claims Obama's relatives in Kenya believe the Democratic candidate's mother, Ann Dunham, gave birth to him in the African country.

The suit alleges Dunham traveled to Kenya during her pregnancy at age 18 and was prevented from boarding an airline flight back to Hawaii because of the late stage of her pregnancy.
