All of the candidates are flawed human beings and I always keep that in mind when looking at them because even though on a given day, I could easily defend one over the other I also recognize that there may be instances when something is said or done that I can't nor would possibly try to defend. The thing that strikes me is that sometimes I read comments on CNN, for example, made by people that see whoever they support as someone perfect to the point where they excuse each and every questionable action.

When it comes to HC losing and the comments of the people that actually worked for her vs. people that supported her but weren't part of her staff, the reaction to her loss is generally different. Maybe the people that worked for her have a harder time facing the possibility that they may have in some way contributed to some poor strategy but at least one this morning said the lack of a caucus strategy was a huge mistake (but not before making it clear that he wasn't part of the strategy planning). I think Lisa Caputo is by far the best staff member that I've seen on tv and even though she has this push and pull going when it comes to admitting some things, I get the sense that it's more about being loyal to HC than it is about projecting some false sense of reality which people like Wolfson and McAuliffe tend to do.

There are some people in the media that clearly don't like HC and it showed in certain instances and I don't think all of their bias was totally rooted in sexism. Some of them just don't like her. The example that some of the women like to bring up about a man holding up the Iron My Shirt sign is an example of one man expressing his sexist feelings. I don't know why they chose to make the media responsible for that man and I guess they felt wronged that the media didn't hop all over him since they're quite sure that the media would have hopped all over a racist sign. I personally don't see the benefit of the media hopping all over either scenario since it's pointless to emphasize the negative. There are things you expect to happen when you're in the minority and many times you have to shrug it off and keep going.

For all the talk about the many women that supported HC there should have been some talk about the women that didn't. She's not the poster child or representative of every woman in this country and she may not even be the representative of all the women that voted for her since some of them may have voted for her for reasons other than girl power. The media is actually doing her a favor in amplifying her to that level. There may be many things to which we can point that went wrong with her campaign but the reason she didn't win is because not enough women supported her.

I wil say this about certain members of the media.....

It seemed like, as soon as BO secured the nom, she was old news that night. As if to say "Hell.......the story's over.......she needs to go somewhere so we can focus on him and McCain." They used her to fill news cycles and now that it's over.......just go somewhere.

But this stuff about the media costing her that nom......was it the media who brought up the Bosnia story? Was it the media who made BC say some of the stuff he said? I think many would have more respect in her people and in her if the just say "Look. We are human, and at some points we REALLY f'ed up."

But some of her supporters need to get off this "media bias" shtick. She didn't have to get out two nights ago, and those trying to push her out were 100% wrong. Give her some time to put things together.

But she needs to accept responsibility.

I will also add this.

If the reporting is to be believe, it now looks like some of her own people helped shove her out the door.

That is one vision you honestly don't want folks to have of you......that you were forced out.

I look for this to be a great contest between two individuals who have vastly different ideas, but hopefully a common respect for each other. McCain is already putting that out on the table, we will see if Obama reaches for it as well.

As for the republicans being racist..I am sure there are serveral that are, just as there are democrats that are..that is just how this country is.

now if we can leave that off the table, and get to what this is really about, we will all be better because of it. And for those who can't, leave them behind and ignore them. Don't publicize their sites and their words. IF we ignored morons that are racists, the Michael Moores and Ann Coulters of the world, they would go away.

Most Hillary's peeps are hardcore Dems who want to win no matter who has the top spot.

IMHO Someone close to her got Bill out of the room and sat Hillary down talked sense to her. It may be to late for her to get VP(BUt if she comes out strong for him he may but if Bill won't be vetted there's NOWAY) but it's said that Obama really wants to put her on the High court if she comes through for him in the race.

#2 :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Yesterday Lisa Caputo did her best to sort of neutralize that story but it will be hard for her to do that today. The story is that 23 congressional members who support her made a conference call to let her know she needed to concede and it was followed up by eight members of the senate. Their motivation is supposed to be that they want to tow the party line and back Obama but they are hindered until she makes her move.

Today Andrea Evans was speaking to one of her supporters/team members who I found to be quite loud on Saturday when talking with CM but who managed to dial it down today and she basically confirmed how it happened by saying something to the effect that Clinton had wanted to have the chance to speak to her supporters before saying anything. Well now she gets to do that on Friday privately (as if anything is that private nowadays) and then make her public endorsement on Saturday. It seems that after speaking to Andrea Evans and telling her that he was going to call HC, Rangel did just that and voiced his displeasure along with the rest of the NY delegation, as they refer to themselves. I didn't see the whole thing but Rangel headed a press conference with the NY delegation to let the press know they were proud of HC and in essence glad that she's going to concede so they can get on with their unity song.

I know that Chris Matthews has spent so much time on his show asking what HC wants that it will be hard for him to adjust to not being able to fixate on her anymore so he's certainly going to make the best of it until she does concede and he's going to bring her up as a VP candidate with Pat Buchanan defending the idea with great zeal (since he's become huge on HC for the time being) while others point out the problems and offer up their own choices. I'm sure the media outlets probably dread having to actually focus on McCain for prolonged periods because he's not as interesting to them as the Clintons have been.

The only person I can stand on MSNBC is KO, the rest I find to be sexists pigs especially scarborough and chris matthews. Their coverage on hillary has been sexists and some of the comments they said about hillary and chelsea have been appalling.

In other news Foxnews and other republicans are ripping McCain for his horrible speech on tuesday. An they say he stinks when it comes to public speaking, this guy is in big trouble.

Its bad when your own party says your not a good public speaker

I haven't heard anything I found offensive from CM so far. I read that he suggested that he attributed HC's standing at one point to her being married to BC and that he subsequently apologized. I know someone said that HC was pimping Chelsea but I don't know who but I can't say that bothered me.

I've seen very little of Scarborough since he's on 3-6 a.m. my time and with the exception of this morning, the few times I've turned his show on, he's been gone. I haven't formed an opinion of him yet.

I like KO's show best but CM, David Gregory, and Dan Abrams are okay as well and I do find CM funny at times. The only person I could do without is Pat Buchanan and it's mainly because he sings the same song and adds nothing new. I don't care if I don't agree with any of them as long as they present their views in an interesting manner and so far I haven't heard any of them say anything I've found offensive.
