Well, I see that alittle differently. Even though I was behind John Kerry, he ran, IMO, one of the worst campaigns in recent memory. Bush's numbers were bad, and the only way he could lose was to let the Bush campaign brand him, which is what happened. He didn't fight back worth a damn, and it cost him. He let the other campaign set the tone.

I know that what constitutes normal for a teenager is subjective and I'm not disputing whether or not she's a normal teenager. The pictures of teenagers with rifles, guns, and alcohol isn't normal for teenagers. It's the exception and not the rule and the fact of the matter is if there were diffferent teenagers depicted in the pictures, most people wouldn't brush it off as normal teenager.

Bob Barr only candidate slated to be on the Texas ballot. This could be interesting to see how it develops. I guess I'll see first hand how much power the parties have.

And here's the other scenario for the Libertarian party.

By the way, Bob Barr is a hack. I don't trust him and he's from my state.

No offense, Jay... but why would I take your word for that? I understand YOU think they're real... but I have no idea where they came from. And given the proliferation of faked photos or even misinterpreted photos (remember Obama not saluting the flag?), how can we really know these pics weren't altered?

Of course... I'm not really sure how relevant these pics really are anyway to the election, real or not.

So, according to the latest poll of polls by CNN it would indicate John McCain got his much needed bounce from his convention. He is now ahead by one percentage point (still within the margin of error).

Has the Palin factor worked to his advantage so far?

That won't be answered until she actually gets out in front of the media and says something. Hiding her away is working now, but how long will this last before the chorus starts becoming louder with the question "When is she going to tell us what she thinks on the issues?"

That's been my feeling all along, and the Democrats already are passing on her and going after McCain hard, which is how it should be. Anyone see Hillary campaigning for Obama today? Seeing her speak still makes me yearn for her presidency :( What could have been. Glad to see she is out there doing everything in her power to make sure Barack Obama is the next President of the United States.
