Devoted, your math changes every single post. I need a damn dictionary to look up all the different ways she's either leading or has won this race....

Even though she's losing in every single category.

You're the one who keeps posting about these numbers of hers.......and you don't post the links to these numbers or post the articles they came from.

So what am I supposed to believe?

The talk seems to be about AG or be advisor on Poverty.

The Plan seems to be for Obama to have lot's of big name advisors like Al Gore ,Jimmy Carter and etc.

If he isn't VP i think Bill Richardson is a lock for SOS and we could see Sen.Jim Webb or Gen.Wes Clark as SOD.

First, I did not even mention any numbers or stats in the post that merits your reply. I think in the category of attracing the most people she is leading there but that is up for debate.

I said that her 100% approval rating with NARAL is at her profile on Wikipedia...and the numbers for, if she gets MI and FL with Obama's agreement (and I posted that article about how he is willing to compromise. I can't see any other compromise outside of seating those delegates...the compromise sounds like it will go through negotiatons. And nobody beats the Clintons in negotiating), are here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statewide_opi...nd_polling_data

They have the delegates allocated from MI and FL to Obama and Hillary...I don't know where the "other" delegates (in the other column) are going to go but odds are most to Hillary since she won big in both states.

We can both afford not to hold it against her since it has no effect on either one of her. I just can't say she's great at her job if that's her contribution to resolving the problem.

I don't get why you're questioning this. They endorsed Obama which means they made up their minds and it's a non issue.

As far as the compromise on MI and FL goes, I thought Obama was okay with a split a long time ago and Clinton was not. Then there was the plus 10 in her favor which she nixed. The only compromise in which she seems interested is the one which gives her exactly what she wants which isn't really a compromise. Just like she changes the goal posts at will.

What is the point of signing a specific agreement about rules if you're only going to want to change the rules to be beneficial to you?

I want Edwards to be on as Attorney General. Both Obama and Hillary would be more than happy to nominate him for that post. He would easily get confirmed by the Senate.

That is a good thing that Gore and Carter are going to be advisors for the next administration...Gore can be instrumental on adapting a pro environment strategy (even better than President Clinton's very positive environment agenda) while Carter discusses policy aimed at world peace.

Richardson should be back in the Cabinet...no argument from me. Wes Clark also has credentials to be the Defense Secretary.

There are other problems that Waters can easily solve as a congresswoman and odds are she has resolved many.

They did endorse Obama but I am wondering if they can also endorse Clinton and hold another meeting about it. She is obviously the best candidate for women's rights.

I don't know if Obama was willing to allow MI and FL before but odds are he was not. Now, he changed his mind because it appears that he is willing to compromise through negotiating with the Clintons...and the Clintons always win negotiations. What if Obama also wants her as president? Maybe he thinks he would be better off having more experience as VP and then being president.

The agreement is also not bound by the DNC...they can reject it. But they will both agree to the DNC's decision. But Obama seems willing to compromise and that could just tell the DNC to give it up and go by what they agree on and seat the delegates

You do know that she won big in Mich. because his name wasn't on the ballot. And that he never campaigned in Florida.

And, she is not leading in the stats that attrack the most voters. He leads her, and they BOTH are beating McCain. This same argument that she would do better than him is not being supported.

Okay thanks....I thought it did not exist. But he would be good on poverty advisor and just help guide an anti povery agenda.

He chose to take his name off the ballot but kept it on for FL. Why keep it on for one state and not the other?

It depends on how many people in each group that they attract support them. Obviously he attracts a huge number of African Americans, she with seniors, Hispanics, Asians...but those numbers might not be big in his attraction with African Americans. I like that they are both beating McCain...all the more reason to run together since that would definitely beat him if they are both winning against him.

That is what I keep saying! Glad someone also sees it that way ;)

I am serious...that could be his thinking in wanting to compromise on MI and FL. I am not sure but, if he compromises, she wins and odds are will put him on as VP.

Heck the VP already is like a chaueffer anyways and more of a personal assistant to the president ;)

    • What is the reason why soaps can’t use whatever sets they want? How exactly does it cost money..? I’m sure they still have Michael and Lauren’s house, why can’t they just put it up and shoot it when needed lol
    • I'm binging last week and I still find it so odd how different the show feels. Before I felt like each episode felt so long but the show is gliding by now. I'm on Thursday and it's crazy how real the characters feel. It doesn't feel like Days of Our Lives because I'm so used to everything being slapstick. It's definitely nice seeing layers to the characters now. I'm beginning to feel really confident about the coming months when the new headwriters can introduce their own stories.
    • And, Dani's focus, whoa, when she deigns to really pay attention, her focus is laser sharp. And, Chelsea is a natural attention seeking target for Dani. She is so much more mother than I realized before.

    • I did enjoy the Dani/Chelsea scene! It’s nice to see Dani show a little more nuance, and I agree I do buy her and Chelsea as mother/daugher.
    • Just talking, no flashbacks. Lol
    • Honestly, Gio's performance was probably one of the best Nurse's Ball performances ever.  It shows how contrived and silly every other act was.  90's Nurse's Balls had their silliness too, but it tended to be with characters we cared about-not two nurses that get trotted out 3 times a year lol.  There was also some genuine singing talent happening with Vanita Harbour, Rosalind Cash, and even Ricky Martin.  I don't think anyone on the current cast has that high quality of a singing voice.  I suppose Ned can go rock out again lol. The other issue with the Nurses Ball is that the cause isn't very relevant.   Obviously, it's amazing how far we have come with HIV/AIDS treatment, but without Robin, Stone, Jon Hanley, the Quilt, etc. it's hard to feel like the cause is close to anyone's heart except for a few people that were near and dear to Stone/Robin.
    • @slick jones - thanks!!  He's gone on to do quite a bit, that's great to see.
    • Wednesday was another good one. This week has been very strong overall. Leslie has definitely carried it! I do wonder what her end game is. I can't get over how fearless she is and these mind games she plays. I'm used to villains doing whatever they can to hide their secrets but she is basically taunting everyone. Will Jacob end up putting the pieces together or be the typical soap egg head cop? We shall see.... I loved the scenes with Dani and Chelsea. Karla really shines when she is put in scenes with her daughters. I didn't expect it to work based on the ages but she comes off very believable as their mother. I also love how much she clearly cares for them and loves them. The way she immediately pivoted to focus on Chelsea's needs and making sure she knew she was loved and accepted was so heartwarming. As much as Bill wanted to be in the mix, I can't see him doing the same.  I still remain shocked that this week has finally made me feel empathetic for Doofy. I hope that this is truly the end for him and Ashley and that they pivot somewhere else for him. He is still a terrible actor but he is more bearable in scenes with other people.
