Well I am glad she cleared that up. She really did not mean anything to sound racial or not...thanks for posting Wales! I think Obama also offended people over the bitter comments but hey they are human and make mistakes. Time to move on ;)

I saw that part of an interview they did but he did say, at the end, that they would not spend any money on an endorsement. Either way, it is great he is making that endorsement.

From MSNBC:

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Democrat John Edwards endorsed former rival Barack Obama on Wednesday, fresh signs of the party establishment embracing the likely nominee even as Hillary Rodham Clinton refuses to give up her long-shot candidacy.

Edwards appeared with Obama in Grand Rapids, Mich., as Obama campaigns in a critical general election battleground state.

The endorsement comes the day after Clinton defeated Obama by more than 2-to-1 in West Virginia. The loss highlighted Obama's work to win over the "Hillary Democrats" — white, working-class voters who also supported Edwards in large numbers before he exited the race.

Edwards, a former North Carolina senator and the 2004 vice presidential nominee, dropped out of the race in late January.

Both Obama and Clinton immediately asked Edwards for his endorsement, but he stayed mum for more than four months. A person close to Edwards, speaking on condition of anonymity, said he wanted to get involved now to begin unifying the party. Obama also signed on to Edwards' poverty initiative, which was a major cause for Edwards in his campaign and since he left.

When he made his decision, Edwards didn't even tell many of his former top advisers because he wanted to make sure that he personally talked to Clinton to give her the news, said the person close to him. Edwards' wife, Elizabeth, who has spoken favorably about Clinton's health care plan, did not travel with him to Michigan and is not part of the endorsement.

I'm sorry I missed this.

Pat Buchanan is killing me right now. For whatever reason, I'm finding him and Chris Matthews going back and forth hilarious.

John Edwards was super kind to Hilary Clinton with the accolades and all and then he moved on to endorse Obama.

I want Secretary of State to go to another African American so they can be the number one figure for diplomacy and advancing civil rights for that race....Maxine Waters of California sounds like a reasonable choice.

John Edwards or, if his wife gets better from the cancer, would be remarkable as Attorney General

Secretary of Defense...I would like to see a woman in that post. Since Dianne Feinstein works on a sub committee dealing with terrorism, it seems like she knows a lot about defense. Plus, she wrote a bill that closed loopholes that terrorists could use to register for citizenship.

He seems like an overall nice guy and the kind of attorney you would want fighting for you. I wish he was the nominee in 2004 instead of Kerry because he probably would have won. Kerry was just weak. I like him but again he was weak. He let their attacks get to him and not do what Bill Clinton did and just laugh them off.

I don't know how she meant to sound or what her intent was whether it was strategic or not well thought out but she did offend some people. I don't even know that her expression of regret necessarily clears it up for some people but as I said, I hope she keeps those kind of comments private in the future.

I'm not sure why you're equating what she said with what Obama said because they're not similar and he said right away he phrased what he said wrongly and he apologized numerous times. Besides that, I'm not sure how you say it's time to move on when you've mentioned the bitter comments yet again. I'm skeptical, are you moving on until you see fit to mention it again or are you going to drop it now?

Even though I read the spoilers, I was a little surprised that Days went there Ari and Doug III. I won't say it's out of character for Doug III but I didn't expect it when he first heard it was happening. I'm interested in seeing where they go from here. I hope Tate finds out somehow and tells Holly about it. That could be a pretty good mess. But at the same time, their scenes felt rushed. We should have seen more of Ari and Doug III both at the Bar and at the Salem Inn  Doug III looked hot though. And Ari got to have scenes with Marlena too. I really hope that Days establishes a relationship between the two of them. I'd love to see it play out onscreen. And we got an update about Will and Sonny. But again, all this talk about John  I enjoyed the Holly/Doug III scenes too. I liked the way that she helped him today and comforted him about everything that happened with Julie. I'm curious to see how he's going to make things right with her. Belle is dumb but I always love the sibling scenes between her and Brady. I like that they have each other to talk to about how messy their lives are. And I actually don't mind Belle being dumb. I actually find it to be pretty interesting. Surprisingly, she seems messier than Shawn. Btw, now I'm starting to wonder if Tate being sick actually is gonna mean something. Or if Leo Howard just needed some time off. As for Shawn and Steve, their scenes didn't do much for me until the end of the episode. It set things up for tomorrow and I can't wait to see it. Brandon Beemer actually did a pretty good job too. As for the final scene... Idk.

    • per the description on the official GH youtube account, from the clip posted above:  the character Gio was performing "Glow", an original piece that the actor Giovanni Mazza co-wrote and released when he was only 12 years old.
    • I think what they're doing with Hayley being isolated with Bill goes back to when he wanted her to quit her job at the firm and become a “Real Housewife of Fairmont Crest.” But we've seen she hasn’t, so she should be out there mingling—maybe with Caroline—or deciding to join some league or chapter, involving Dani, Anita, or Nicole. I also wouldn’t mind seeing her in more scenes with Derek, since she’s one of the few people who can make him tolerable and less dull. Or what if she bonds with Eva? They’re both outsiders in the community and constantly made to feel like trash by the Duprees.   I’d love to have my theory finally come to light—that Leslie’s mother is actually Sharon. Maybe Leslie is bitter toward Nicole and the rest of the Duprees because she believes her mother should’ve had the kind of fame and fortune Anita has if things had gone differently, especially if her mother had the vocals—i.e. Dreamgirls, Effie. I remember Leslie saying she listened to the Articulettes growing up, and she also mentioned she lived in Chicago—where, guess what? The Articulettes are from.
    • Ranger, will you be his champion?! Tell Dante to back the he&l off? Be there for him in the coming days when he is going to be furious & possibly turn his back on the Cerullos & the Qs & show up at Sonny's door looking for a new place to park his weary head? As for me, I watched the NB every year even when I wasn't watching GH. Many years have been disappointing. So far this year is amazingly satisfying. Clothes! Performers! Drama!  So ironic that they actually have Cam doing what we always said he should be doing, emcee, tux, mic, huge toothy grin! Snark! Could they possibly throw any more shade? Nooo! This is like 100% attitude coming from all directions. You could say I died & went to heaven. Gimme all this high school talent show soapy goodness, I mean, it's only 4 days, what kind of wimp are you, anyway? As soap fans, we are supposed to enjoy these occasional flights of fancy. Maybe you aren't, but I sure as he&l am! And, I won't let any Debbie Downers ruin it for me, either. This brief early morning message was brought to you by the letter N for what else Nurses Ball.
    • I have seen little of Wally, but I always think of the backstage story Julia Barr (I think it was Julia) told where he hated his character and storylines so much that at one point he put some form of clown makeup on in his dressing room to show his feelings.
    • Happy Birthday Giovanni Mazza!!

        Understandable
    • She's beyond awful. She needs to be sent away. We know that's not going to happen.
    • I knew that was the Manhattan skyline in the background  That’s one of the best parts of this; their relationship can go either way. Though I’m hoping that they’ll eventually find their way back to each other
